I want to start this post by thanking everyone for the encouragement and good vibes over the extent of the Stank Bros venture. Growing and breeding cannabis is one of my greatest passions in this life - very few things come close to bringing me as much joy.

Anyone that follows along knows it has been quite a while since there have been any updates or any new information coming from the Stank Bros camp...

I found myself in the middle of relocating and during this time period unable to grow. A lot of parent stock that was normally in multiple places was condensed and put into a single location with a partner.

Unfortunately, during this transition, he fell upon some legal troubles and everything was lost. This put a halt on the immediate
plans and goals we had set out to achieve - and put the brakes on several projects permanently. While that sounds tragic, and it is in some ways, all it really forces us to do is start from scratch and start hunting through the depths of the seed vault to find special progeny again...which is always the path to progress in the first place. Projects that I had slated for years down the road simply get bumped up and moved forward; not really a big deal in the long run.

However - notice what I said - my partner and dear friend found himself in legal troubles and at the mercy of a repressive state with archaic laws. Like many truly good people, he found himself on the short end of a stick being held by a no good dirty snitch...completely unrelated to any online persona or this community.

The next few Stank Bro releases should be thought of as a fundraiser. All retained proceeds will go directly to continuing the fight against these charges. Keeping the best legal team lubricated and functioning at full capacity comes with it's expenses; several small battles have been won but the war wages on. War is not cheap.

That brief update brings me to the current mission - staring the prohibitionist directly in the face and fighting them on the front lines in their own territory...there is no other alternative.

Much like the father of ICmag had always intended - I'll march forward in the spirit of his creed and continue to fight the machine by helping create more growers every day...with every post...with every seed - and together we will overgrow.

I want to give an huge shout out to SDF crew - some of the finest growers here on ICmag and always pushing the gauntlet. If you haven't viewed their threads, you are simply missing out on some true masters of our craft.

That being said, I want to give an enormous "thank you" to Subrob and GrowTech - who took it upon themselves to open up their seed vaults and their hearts to help out a fallen brother and member of the ICmag community. It's because of people like them that I know this place is so much more than just a bunch of letters on a screen and ones and zeros in cyberspace.

It's because of such sincere generosity that I find myself fiercely loyal to this site and it's community of growers...do not be fooled - there is NO PLACE else like ICmag.

Subrob has been donating genetics to the Seedbay Server Fund for as long as I can remember and his ability to pair true rare gems is well documented and known by many members of the community. I still have some of his early work in my seed vault (Valley99) for a rainy day - knowing that whenever I grow it I can expect nothing but some of the very best cannabis the world has to offer. It takes an experienced pallet and a well trained eye to consistently achieve the quality he produces year after year...

Subrob and Growtech only had one request of me in regards to this whole idea, "Make sure you offer these seeds at a price everyone can afford...that's always been important to us." When I hesitated, knowing the purpose of these donations was to server as a charity fundraiser, I was simply told, "Don't worry. I guess we'll just have to send you more." THIS is what you call character and class.

I extend an open invite for Subrob and GrowTech to come participate in this thread and share any information I may miss and help me field the particulars and intricacies of various questions I'm sure will arise.

The Daywrecker - Original Diesel - one of the cuts that started a craze on the east coast and helped change the cannabis landscape permanently. For those unfamiliar with the genetic background of the clone, I'm fairly certain it is accepted as being:

Now there are apparently several different cuts being passed around as "Chem '91" - and that annoys me. There is only ONE true "Chem '91" clone....as with any clone...there is only one. That is to say, it either is or is not a legitimate cut and there is no in between.

The cut Subrob and GrowTech have, is the TRUE Chem '91 - which for all purposes after this little rant will just be simply called the SkunkVa just to keep it clear as to which cut was used in this cross. It is not the "JB Chem '91"...which if you follow any of the strain lore, you already know the story behind why / how there are different cuts...but realize they are completely different cuts and only ONE of them is the legitimate, original...that is the SkunkVa.

Now let me explain the reasoning behind the bulk pack and the auction...

I have already had a couple PM's asking if there were ways to make donations - and we feel the best way to go about such generosity is to still offer you something of value in exchange. The purpose behind the auction is to provide an outlet for those who want to contribute above and beyond and the easiest way of doing such is by bidding on auctions with a value you personally feel is appropriate.

Because there are 25 seeds - you can expect this auction to get a bit competitive. While we certainly appreciate the general nature of that and the possible outcome it can produce - PLEASE - do not bid if you have no intention of carrying through with your purchase. The next wave of the excitement comes from another member who I've become closer acquainted with over the last couple of years and someone I am proud to call a friend. He's always been an open minded more silent type until recently - when he started sharing more of his gardening skills with the community. Those skills have proven themselves over a couple of cup wins this past year - including a 3rd place victory at the ICmag cup and a not far behind it an honorable mention of 4th place with his OG Mango. Now you can find him posting daily...discussing the nuances of dialing in the strains he loves and helping others do the same in their gardens. Whether it be about plants or equipment or environment or feeding schedules, he always has something useful to contribute for the sole purpose of creating better growers.

I'm sure you already know who I'm talking about - and if you don't you need to spend more time on the forums...hehehe. If you've been around, you know him before the name change which now coincides with his personal love project, the strain Purple Frostbyte.

PF and I have spent a lot of time talking - as I know he spent a lot of time talking with my partner as well. Both of us have come to appreciate PF for his simple, no frills honesty and value his input and experience as a grower and as a human being.

Purple Frostbyte attempted this very idea last year only to have his hard work and the money generated stolen by the "Thieving Con-Man" of a now defunct website - which we won't rehash any further. PF has had a soft spot in his heart for this particular unfortunate situation for quite some time now and when he learned of my efforts and the charity taking place, he contacted me and offered to once again put his genetics on the table for a good cause.

Rather than tell you myself about the insane frost and grape laden goodness that comes out of this cross - I'm going to summon PF to do most of the talking himself. What I can say for certain - of those I have talked to that have grown Purple Frostbyte - they all have one comment to make - and it's always about the plants being the frostiest in their garden. The Bx1 generation concentrates the candy grape flavor without a reduction in the resin output.
