Earthman Technologies Testing - Purple Gummer
Purple Gummer - [Bubble Gummer x Garden Isle Purps (Hawaiian Landrace)]
sativa dominant flowering time - 8 weeks taste - sweet, smell - peppery to sweet A medium tall, usually not too branchy (sometimes stretchy) plant, producing compact, crystal covered buds. No cold nights are needed to getting the blue + purple color everyone likes from this one. Retrieved seeds from the mail on 7/29/2014. Planted on 8/1/2014. I placed one seed in a wet peat moss plug, as I've had great success with them, and nested it into the top of a 5 gallon container of soil. After placing the peat plug I sprinkled a quarter cup of cover crop mix over the soil, covered everything in half an inch of aged hay mulch, and watered it all with water. The 5 gallon container was placed under a 4 foot, 8 T5 bulbs, panel light with a 16hr-on/8hr-off timer. After 2-4 weeks of vegetative growth the timer will be switched to 12/12. Room temperature is a constant 85 degrees Fahrenheit and 30% relative humidity with a total height availability of 6 foot. ![]() ![]() ![]() The soil has had a pound of red wigglers working on it for one month. SOIL MIX: 30% Sphagnum Peat Moss/Coco Coir, 30% Aeration material (2 parts Vermiculite, 2 parts Pumice, 1 part Vermiculite), 30% Humus (1 part EWC, 1 part local soil, 1 part leaf litter, 1 part compost), 10% Rock Dust (4 parts Glacial Rock Dust, 1 part Bentonite clay, 1 part powdered Oyster Shell, 1 part Basalt) SOIL AMENDMENT MIX: To each 1 c.f. of this mix I added the following: 0.5 cups Karanja Cake or Neem meal 0.5 cups Alfalfa meal 0.5 cups Kelp meal 0.5 cups Crab Shell Meal 1 cups dried molasses 0.5 cups comfrey/nettle/yarrow powder 1 tbsp. BioAg ful-humix COVER CROP MIX: 1/3 Mini clover seeds, 1/3 Chia seeds, 1/3 Mykos/Azos [I will try to post photos and document it's progress every 2 weeks through curing with a final post containing a full smoke report.] Last edited by The Dragon; 08-02-2014 at 08:21 AM.. Reason: As growing space becomes available I will plant more PG and add photos for them. |

Checked today to find that the tap root had fully emerged but the cotyledons had withered. Planted another, healthier looking, seed and will check on it in a couple days.
