I am finally in a semi-permanent spot and I'm on the hunt for mothers. Sour Bubble is at the top of my list. I popped a few seeds last year and found a girl that was a great representation of BOGs Sour Bubble, but I wasn't able to keep the cut going. I have 21 seeds this time around and hope I can find something even better to hold onto for a long time.

I bought a pack of seeds about a year ago from a local dispensary and bought another pack from BOG at the Emerald Cup last year in December. So, I have 8 leftovers from the original pack and 13 freshies from BOG.

Unfortunately, I'm off to a bit of slow start. Not sure if it is coincidence that 13 germinated strong as expected and 8 are lagging behind. I keep my seeds in a large matchbox in the fridge and think they are supposed to last long-term that way. I'll be patient and see if the others pop up soon.

I soaked the seeds in tap water (ph 6.9) for 24 hours and then put them in a wet paper towel for another 24 hours. I think 12 of them had sprouted tails when I put them in the seed starting mix last Sunday (7/20). The first babies rose above the ground on Tuesday and the pictures below are from today (7/28).

I'll be growing these in 5" pots of Botanicare ReadyGro Aeration Mix with an automated dripper setup going drain to waste. I'll veg them out under T5s once they grow up a bit and flower them out under a 600w in a 4x4 tent. I will use compost tea as a foliar through the first couple weeks of flowering and as a root drench throughout the grow. I'm thinking about switching my base nute though. I usually use Floranova Bloom which has too much N for late bloom. Not sure what I might choose at this point.

RE: Flora Nova Bloom. I'm in a similar quandary. I'm thinking of switching to PBP Soil Bloom after the swell and their beginning to drink less.

Thanks, Folate. I have used Pure Blend Pro before with good results. I'll have to check out the Botanicare line and see what looks good.

A week or so later and 1 more popped above ground for a total of 14. The first couple pics are the babies in their starter pots. Pic 3 is the biggest of the bunch and pic 4 is a trifoliate. The last pic shows them in their 5x5 pots ready for their first feeding.

I've decided to try out FloraDuo for the nutes. I'm thinking the 2-part version should give me similar results to the nova, but let me dial the N back in late flowering. I'm mixing up their first meal tonight and will probably water every other day until they root the new pots.

Nice! Thinking of switching to coco lately currently running 3 female and a male of sour bubble (looking fo a mom too) Rockwool recirculating drip. I hear good things of botanicare cns17 I believe it is for coco...

Hey Mr. 23, coco has worked great for me. I have grown in soil, organic soil, and hydro flood/drain over the years, but have seen the best and most consistent results with coco/perlite.

Here is the group 3 weeks from seed. I have been feeding .5 tsp/gal of Floranova Grow at 5.9ph every 3 days. I will start feeding them every 2 days after giving them some tea on the leaves and in the root zone tomorrow.

Nice looking testy! My boy at the hydro shop swears by slaker or readygro. I am just tired of dealing with rez problems.. my only thing about coco that keeps me from going at it is the deficiencies.... thought about sunshine mix or the foxfarm soil..
