I don't usually take samples at 3 pm but here it is. The lower leaves I took were super yellow. I'm not sure I believe these numbers so I'm going to do them again tomorrow morning.

Old, new
K 1100, 860
pH 6.8, 6
N 3500, 1600
Ca 130, 54
Brix 7 fuzzy, 7 fuzzy

I grabbed some upper leaves for pressing and this is what I hadn't seen until now:

Shot of the whole plant, BD S1:

So how do you gather sap?

If you crush the cells...if the leaf don't still look like a leaf when you are done...your plant is built out of k instead of Ca

Spray Ca and some aminos

So what are those lime green tips? Ca?

I have a pollen press that has a cap with holes and a screen. I tear the leaves a couple times, stuff them in, and twist it until I get sap. Usually the middle of the puck looks normal and the top and bottom look smushed.

How could you get sap without crushing the leaf? Would it be better to sample petioles?

Look at your pH. 6.8 bottom, 6 top. Some base cation ain't making it to the top. K is. You got a lot of Na?

Nope, just recently top dressed 5 lbs 4-3-2 chicken and couple lbs gyp. Maybe low ec wasn't letting ions up?

With a cec like that, 20% Mg is way too much and you're going to need more gyp.

I've been mixing my own micros for this years grows:

It's got some Zinc and Manganese also but smells just like the expensive foreign stuff.

Here are some plants from a rec grow I work with. Forum cut:

Their native soil is pretty nice, 20 cec, 65% Ca, 12% Mg, 5% K, decent micros. Needs lots of Phosphorus though.
