Purple Diamond - Redeyed Genetics

Hi there

Sorry I am a bit late to the party, got the seeds a few days ago but this days seens I dont have time to do shit and unable to get the care this little ones deserve.

I will like to thanks Red Eye Genetics and Clarence for the chance and the logistics to get the seed to me, thank you guys!

The seeds

Purple Diamond (Mendo Purps x Mt Rainier)
_________Mt Rianier (Northen Lights x White Lotus)

Notes

Due to high restrictions I am aiming for plants that finish about 40-50cm tall.
Over here is summer so heat will be a big concern during veg.
I have not been growing for too long, so still learn and dialing things, so please please bear with me sometimes
I want to start vegging with 85w for a slow veg period during the hotter months and if need it I will put the 250w to fast finish, because my current flo finish in 50 days.

The set up:

Lighting 85w 250w CFL for 18h, and 400w HPS for 12h
Containers, 0.2L 0.5L, 3.5L
Medium, Organic own soil recipe
Nutrients, ACTs, diferents plants teas and just water.

Seeds save and sound at home.

Hi everybody

I will like to apologise myself for not starting the diary before, I know that I was suposse to start as soon as I got the seeds, but for different reason I could not until now. Clarence, RedEyedNReady and Johnychaos sorry for this and I hope you are not too much desappointed with me.

But as we say around here, better late dont never, and like the damage is already done, the only thing I can do now is do a proper dairy, and try to redeem myself.

Choom, thanks for kicking my ass and push me start, and hell yeah, looking forward to get a good male from this batch!!

So.... today I have done the first step in the germination process:

1. Getting all the stuff ready

2. I like to get all the seeds in a sand paper roll and shake ir for a coupel of minutes. I do this to get small cuts in the surface of the seed so the water can get in better

2. I get the seed in destilated water with a few drops of H202, this is to kill any patoghens the seeds could carry in the outside, or could pick up while doing the whole process. Better safe than sorry

The seeds will be there for 20-24 hours, then they will go into paper towel on top of the router to be warm, but most of this in the next update.

I have germinated all the seeds, so 11 in the jar.

That is all for today, more tomorrow!

hi GA, nice to have you around!!

So after 24 hours soaking in water some seeds were already showing the tap root and all of them were at the bottom of the jar.

After that they were put between wet paper towel, in a warm place and with fresh air moving around

after only 24 hours 10 out 11 were having at least 1cm tap root, only 1 fail to germinated. At this point I should have put them in soil, but I was having people around I was impossible, so I decide to do it this morning...

after 36 hours this is what I found tis morning, over night they have keep growing the tap root another 1cm or so, no questions about vigor on thos plants. The "lazy one" did crack the seedcoat but still did not want to show any root...

And here they are, I have put the lazy one in a pot and treat her like the rest, hoping that with a little bit of luck, she can still join the show.

The pots are 200ml in capacity

The soil is reuse from my last grow, Bio Bizz All Mix, but with amends added to it, Alfalfa, humus, guano, kelp, Rock dust, Dolomite amd some more stuff...
It has been for +30 days cooking

hi Master Chine

no the H2O2 is not really-really important I will say, but is better be safe than sorry.

plenty of people dont use it and they have good germination rates and happy plants.

I have take it as a rutine and everytime I put seed to soak I just add some drops, no too much work involve.

IMHO, the little details are the ones that make the diferencies!!

hi everyone

Sadly one of the little ones did nt make it, yesterday I did a little digging and the small taproot and the cotiledons were rotten, so only 10 in the game, but fortunately all of them has good vigor and seen in good healt

They are under a CFL 85w, 18/6
Until now they have only been water with plain water from a spring-well
