dear growers, 2 months ago I bought me a pack of the critical mass @ the growshop.I was searching for a huge yielder and after hearing no bad things @ all from Shanti, I decided to get me a pack.
60€ for 15 seeds seemed like a good deal. I sawed 10 seeds and only one popped after 14 days. are there any growers who experienced the same thing with those seeds?
seems to me like a nice strain, with all the good credits it gets.
now, I have grown up many many seeds, I have experience with dozens of strains and this is not normal.

I have same situation with 12 seeds of shit! But with another 6 seeds i had 100% germ rate because i presoaked seeds in not to warm water t for 12 h and then put them in paper towel! I belive poor germ rate is because of some age seeds have. I got 18 seeds in my pack and 3 of em was very very ugly but did crack !

I had once 4 CM seeds and all were popped. I like very much this strain. This is my personal favourite strain (an all around winner).

I also have had the same situation last year with my Shark Shock, walk about and dream time. Not a single walkabout or dreamtime cracked ( still have 4 left of each) and out of the 8 shark shock i started none cracked. still have 9 shark shock left.

I was given some (100) semtex seeds (not bread by shanti) by Drew to make up for a dvd that never arrived. I started 10 and 10 popped.

seems like a serious problem here. I bought the strain because I needed a heavy yielder, but this plan drains down the gutter now. all the seeds I have produced with my parents all popped.

The Mr Nice strains usually germinate very well. If ya have problems with the germ ratio. it's not the breeder's fault. probable the seeds were old where you bought.

many satisfied customers and there are a few others. Send your germ prob to the shop where you bought the seeds.

My seeds were purchased directly from mr nice before the shop closed down.

I have no gripe with the company as I still have 90 seeds left in my fridge and i found the quality good enough for me. ( miles in front of the shity red hair commercial we get in Sydney.)

I just posted as I thought that the good people of the community should know.

I cant wait for some of the limited editions to be released again. I will purchase with out a doubt as shanti is one of the most respected breeders around and the photos that I have seen of his strain especially before CW went down were out of this world.
The first plants I grew were WW when Shanti was still at green house and all popped and I was rewarded with a few pounds of top notch smoke.

I bought mine @ growshop alien.
this was what I found when they where shipped by shanti:

so the seeds aren't that old. they where soaked together with 50 seeds from soma. the somas all popped very well.

Hi All

as I posted on the other thread about poor germination , I am away at present and will certainly help put things right on my return.

There is no real problem with any strain but it happens from time to time...That is why the helpdesks exist!

So on my return I will speak to all the resellers of my products to verify any legitimate dramas and sort them out pronto. Thanks for your patience and stay safe all the best Sb
