The answer of course was that I had bought a (non-pornographic) magazine which I was in fact reading on the shitter at the time she burst in on me.

Hahaha! Good effort but you know that they are never too tired to argue.

I would get told off upon waking up in the morning for farting in my sleep. That set up the general mood for the rest of the day.

I try to remember the happy times we had and they always seem to occur immediately after I apologised for something. I think I got reciprocal apologies around the time of my birthdays and when my cat died.

Wow! My wallet-auditing-interrupted-dumps have got nothing on you Andyo.

While it is pretty cathartic and enjoyable to share our pains of love involving south-east asian women, I can see where this is heading already.

It would seem that some women are just as fucked up as some men, regardless of ethnicity. I think the cultural differences are an amplifier of the usual things that cause friction in a relationship.
As if it wasn't hard enough already to find a woman that accepted your addictions and weaknesses while appreciating your strengths and positive behaviours am I right gentlemen?

Funny you mention parents Andyo, as in my experience a huge chunk of what caused so much anger and conflict in my case was the issues with her father (sorry for getting a bit Freudian here) who escaped with his family from Laos in a boat down the meekong delta and took his family to Australia. Not an easy task and admirable in anyones book.
Unfortunately it didn't stop him emotionally and physically abusing his family once he had brought them to the "promised land". He had his own issues he never managed to resolve and took it out on his nearest and dearest.

Asian parents have a lot to answer for in my experience, especially the dads. They demand respect from their children but are rarely deserving of it; withholding the love, support and teachings of life lessons which would warrant the level of respect they think they are somehow worthy of and entitled to.

But I digress, I made som-tum for my ex's mother which she rated better than her daughter's (my ex's) version. She was absolutely furious hehehe... I can at least take that away as a small victory from the relationship

but we have to admit its our fault at the end for our choices ,
we pick the wrong ones,

the right ones probably walk past us 10 times a day ,
but we ignore them and seem to know better , hehehe...

geez glob youve had a hard time mate ,
and i suspect your quite correct re relationship with fathers ,
girls that have good ones are a lot easy for men to get along with ,,

same goes for guys ,, if they have good relationship with mum ,
they are good sorts for marriage and will respect women correctly ..

and yes the asian fathers have a lot to answer for,
it is them that happily allows, or even sends their daughters to the city to have sex with strangers to support their booze habits etc ...
be nice to have them feeling how they should for that ...
