Ganja Honey?? I DID IT!!
How would I go about making Ganja Honey? Would you do the same as oil? I put my oil in a crockpot for 24 hours on KEEP WARM setting...which is a little less heat than LOW. So would i be able to put the honey in the crock and slowcook it like the oil and then strain it? Thanks for any help

Well honey has no fat in it so I would assume you would have to either make weed oil or weed butter and mix it together for it to be affective.

making a honey-based extract has it magic, i don't know how to make it, but you do NOT need to add either alcohol or fats, the honey from the bees itself becomes the medium into which the desired elements of cannabis are extracted into. i buy a chinese ginseng honey-based extract, amazing thing as a remedy, boost your inmune system like crazy, also makes you horney hehehe...
i tried searching for a recipe and didn't find any, but i guess what smokey has described would not hurt to try and see if it works... what i wonder is how one would go about removing all the plant material afterwards... peace.

Hey, this has given me a great idea! Obviously the top poster was referring to HONEY from bees, DUH? Anyway, I preserve cubensis mushrooms in honey as well as tamps, so I can't see why keef wouldn't be exactly what to try. Now, I've got hexan washed bogbubble keef, dried and powdered, and so I'll go get one of those smaller hotel jars of honey and see what happens when mixed while WARM and runny. While it would preserve the keef, I don't think it will enhance it (maybe make for longer keeping and a great way to HIDE a lots of keef (I do that in spice containers in the pantry!), but keef'd honey actually doesn't sound like a bad idea at all!
What about keefed sweet butter mixed with honey while cold? Regular honey butter in the store is just pasturized honey with sweet creamer butterfat added .... I know that would work with budbutter certainly! Ok, now that I've got my mind runing with honey recipes and baked goods, I think I'll go make some sugar cookies sprinkled with sugared keef chyrstals. Too bad the damn food channel doesn't have a pot cooking show! I'd love to get Rachel Ray in the kitchen with a big bowl of sour creek while she whips up some 30 minute meal! Question: Do any of you EAT the seeds? You 'll know when mixed with lentils or other legumes you get a complete protien source? Isnt' YAWEH wonderful? |
