swt #3 breeding
Used a nice spg male from the swt#3 f2 line in a few breeding projects. I am happy to report very homogeneous progeny from the father.
Swt#3 f2 male passed on the spg smell and taste to the progeny, improved the structure, and yield in most cases. I have also noticed some amazing blueberry phenotypes in swt#3 f2 x blackberry. tested swt#3 f2 x blackberry kush x OG x Vortex coming up : x strawberry cough x Maui x Blue Dream x Space Queen x Jack herer please post any breeding results you may have as far as dominant/recessive genes passed on, and any pros/cons from the progeny. I tested my male against preflower tendendacies when rootbound, it did not preflower( while others not selected did) |

I think one of the Issues w/Swt is the AF characteristic. I did a cross w/ a select original swt#3 crossed with Sol Blockhead males.Several females I ran had an Extremely floppy structure.Top colas were huge and too Leafy too the point of mold. These select few were Blockhead Dominant, with that weird Blockhead smell. The smoke was very potent and crazy smelly, but I couldn't tolerate the floppy structure. I am currently running Swt#3 x Grape Krush(f-2) male. I've used the GK males to make some very successful crosses. The GK brings structure, resin and great taste to every cross. This cross is the GK dominant male to a Swt leaning female. This coming batch of seeds((f-2)will tell the Story, I expect nothing less than magic. The next selection will be the most Important..growing and Testing is the Order of the day. I've grown Swt in some way, shape or form for a decade. The plant does have Issues, but the smoke is very tasty and enjoyed by everyone.I'm hoping the GK will bring better structure, density and stability..I honestly don't think the AF issue can be simply Bred Away..always Hoping Tho! Good luck in your Endevours!

thank you everlast. I too enjoy the smoke and yield, great for daytime use. however when it comes to breeding its not something you want to keep passing on. the AF that is. although I haven't seen it in the progeny yet I have not run through enough of them to make a true assessment.

I currently have Crosses going from my sweet tooth #3f2 male with Jack Herer, Maui, and Tangerine. I have figured out how to post pics, so I will. I will also be lab testing the flowers and will start to see if the male passed on a specific Terp print. First up will be Jack Herer x Sweet tooth #3 f2.

The sweettooth(s) I have grown (all from SOL original seedstock) did have a few floppy phenotypes which exhibited some autoflowering characteristics when potbound/rootbound only.I believe it is passed on from the original sweet pink grapefruit momma.

I think we can all agree on that. I haven't seen it yet in my male's progeny, but to be fair I have limited data set so far. Does anyone have Sweet Tooth lab test results?
