Let me give it another shot.

I tried using Mediafire as a picture host, but when I posted it as an image in the frosty bud thread, it fvcks up the page layout.

The original is higher res. (1500x2000) - how do I upload that ?

It says "800x800" somewhere when you upload to the gallery.

The pic on the other thread looks fine! It resizes to 800x800, but ppl can click and see the higher rez if they want. Perhaps it's a browser issue for you?

If you'd like to post up higher rez images on icmag (up to 250K file size), you can become a subscriber and get a lot more benefits on icmag.

Phew ! Just wanted to make sure I didn't mess up the thread with bad HTML etiquette.

When I was re-loading it I noticed that the page got sort of warped when it re-loaded because of my over-large (3600 x 2700) image.

Now I notice that it first loads with the large image, then loads the smaller image with the banner to get to the high-res image.

Psychedelic !

As you can see there are several ways to post up images on icmag.

You can use thumbnails, or post a pic from your albums (or old gallery). Depending upon which method you use, the images will get stored in different places and get managed and posted with a different method.

Thumbnails are nice cause they involved less scrolling thru the thread
