logging on but not - Website Support - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

recently, while logging on, after putting in proper uid & PW, she takes me back to the initial not logged on menu. if I select one of the topics on this screen she takes me there, where I am already signed on. just a PITA.

It's also one of those things that makes you go hmmmmm. But I think maybe try clearing your cache and any cookies... restarted your computer and browser lately? Many things could cause this...haven't seen it myself however.

Let us know if this continues...

you & me both, Snook. sometimes I log in on every page I come to (6 to 10 times) and still cannot post. sometimes I log out, come back three days later & I'm logged on...

Try using the "remember me" button when you login.
Make sure your browser accepts cookies from icmag.

I have, in the last week cleared all temp files, cookies and whatever else it let me delete..
same thing just happened. tks.

I will at times use "remember me", skip but not for any extended period of time. Paranoia.

I think cookies are accepted because when using 'remember me', she does 'remember me' until I 'log off'. TKS.

this sounds a feasible change that I will make to my favorites button for ICMAG. none the less, it's just a work around. i'm OK but something else could be wrong.. Thanks, all of you.

and let me now add: if I select the 'forum' next to the 'my ic' button, it takes me back to the forum menu but I'm not signed on, so it seems that only the forum menu (haven't looked any further) does not recognize me as logged on. just kinda weird.

this kinda thing makes me go hmmmmmmm........especially since im in the land of oppression where a healthy ammt of paranoia is essential when growing more than a few plants.
