Check it out! this is a Horny toad that i cought in the montains yesterday! its a lizard not a toad! and horny comes from horns i set up his new pad up today! got a 10 gal aquarium and heatlamp and that skull from petco for like $25! gravel from home depot for $5! cheap habitat! bullets provided by me! i found them while hiking yesterday also!

now for the name.... my 4 yo nease started calling it cookie monster, so i guess its stuck! Cookie monster! sounds good to me!

neat creatures, i had one when i was younger, caught it Be carefull of parasites and desiese. Your probably fine, but dont do anything stupid with it. and wash your hands.

Dont scare the shit out of it.

If you do... Dont worrie about blood squirting out of its eye. Its a natural defence.
And they ARE fast, but think they are safe in piles of things, like a junk pile or lumber.

I fond mine when i was a kid in Casper Wyoming.
It doesnt make a difference to the lizard weather you have it or not. It can be your friend and you its. If you let it go it wont have that opportunity.

the way i see it is that he don't have to struggle for food no more! he's got plenty of crickets kicking it around his spot! water is there also. heat lamp too! he don't have to worry no more bout snakes, scorpions, eagles, falcons, coyote's eating him no more! i think he likes his/her new home! it looks pretty happy sunbathing in the lamp. he ate two crickets and took a long nap a while ago. looks happy
