Can we use chat with say a nexus7?

Only with flash compatible browser, cause Android doesn't suport flash by itself. Most of those browsers are not free.

Ya Im bummed too... remember when cell phone internet first came out, only thing that worked was the chat...lol guess I gota get the computer out

It says I don't have permission to access chat so I can't test but this allows you to use flash on KitKat: https://forum.xda-developers.com/goog...oid-4-t2548001

Ive tried using the dolphin approach on a nexus 7 and galaxy 10 with no success.I even tried the old flash that is posted on adobes site and last but not least i tried proxies... Never could get it to directly work on android. If you have a PC running windows thats connected to the internet you can download logmein app from google play store and remote in to your PC..Thats the only work around ive been able to do thus far for android.

I installed an Ajax chat on another site, but had a few issues with it. It works great on mobiles, but it wouldn't integrate with vBulletin properly.

I'd accept even a separate subdomain for chat if it works better.

I'm checking out a new chat, Comet Chat. Waiting for them to get back to me.
This looks pretty good and has an android and iOS app too!

If this works out, we may get it!

Problem is I couldn't get the demo to work, I think it's being upgraded.

Let me know what you think and whether you can get the demo to work!

hey Skip, looks good if you can avoid ic chat appearing on their list of available rooms so that only members can get in.
