If there's anyone here in Qld, Australia who's seen Rick Simpson's Run From the Cure doco and makes it, it'd be interesting to network. I'd like to learn how to make the oil, from someone who's making it.

If you have watched the video it is self explanatory.
The hardest part is getting the ethanol. You will have to find some one with a still.
If you are experimenting canna butter may be a better starting point.
In the current climate I dont think you will find to many people willing to network publicly.
Go check the cooking with cannabis or the medicinal threads on icmag.

Ok Guys ... so let's take this new member on face value ...

yes, solvents available from hardwares etc are most often fitted with awful tasting stuff and are only cleaned to an industrial not medical standard. someone local to you will have a still with which to make grog. a local man here produces 84% ethyl alcohol (y'need to know % to know how long to soak plant material).

Rick Simpson's video explains it all. it really is a simple as it looks. there is nothing more you need to know ... except if you do the boiling down on a cold day (DO THIS OUTSIDE!) the ethanol vapour will condense on the outside of yr rice cooker and you can collect it for re-use.

for me important information was that med oil is best from Indica spp. because Sativa speeds me up too much. I could not consume the recommended 1 gram per day. he take Sativa oil he rush around and talk crazy!

The OP didnt say what he wanted to treat but for me I need the lift that the sativa brings. It can be a wild ride if overdosed but at the right dose rates the effects are just what I need.

it'sawildride all right, 4tokin! one I couldn't handle at 1g per day. but shows things are different for different people.

now where's the Poster? he said "... networking" did he not? if we don't hear from him then ... ?

Please Do Not make further postings in regards to wanting to meet up with people, this is a blatant violation of the TOU and you will end up being banned for it. The rules are there to protect everyone's safety especially for people who live in countries with draconian laws regarding Cannabis, like Australia.
