theres only a few breeders out there who actually even post pics of the females they use, let alone the males, and let alone phenos!!

if some of these pollen chuckin hacks posted pics of what phenos to expect out of their latest sour cookie kush killer kyrptonite than most people wouldn't even buy!

i dont even sell seeds and even i have the ability to post pics of random phenos that come out of my creations, so its utterly pathetic that most breeders have like 40+ strains for sale yet only have a handful of pics.
Heres my boy, kid tested and mother approved.

Chimera - thank you for taking the time to chime in. Your input is most relevant. Re: customers posting pictures - currently it is best resource available to see pheno expressions BUT - from customers perspective there is lots of irrelevant material to get to what you are seeking and hard for others to trust veracity of anonymous poster.
Breeders are only ones in position to organize photos properly and have stake in accuracy and accountability for material. Also, they would have many phenos to take picture of.
You have been kind enough to explain there is other work to be done by breeders and you feel customers are better equipped to perform this task. I may have incorrectly assumed minions were available for this type of task. I for one don't need to see a plant in its best light like a supermodel. I am just looking for fair representation of a particular pheno for the sake of knowledge in planning a grow. Hell, for a seed company like yours, I'd volunteer services like parsing out pics from posts and organizing them.
Transparency, integrity, quality genetics. That's what I look for as customer

Space bud. That's very cool. I wish I had gone to ag school rather than law school.

People that have time to spend online all day posting pictures don't have time to do much of relevance, imnsho.

I prefer to have customers post reviews and pics than post a bunch of my own; to me that is what the seeds are worth - what our clients think of them, and what they do with them. I'd rather see what our clients do with our products, than post a bunch of pics under ideal conditions myself. I just think it has more value and integrity to see what actually comes from our products in our client's respective gardens. The highland Mex cross, for example, sat on shelves for a few years before more than 10 packs sold... I said nothing and let the few adventurous explorers have their way with them... and now they are a thing of rarity which people kick themselves for not taking part in sooner.

I could be better as far as commercialism, propaganda and advertising goes - but that just isn't me. I try to cater to people who share my beliefs because how I feel about the world is how I choose to operate in it- some people like the McDonalds, facebook and instagram types who need the instant gratification. I don't do those media forms, although well arguably each respectively are better organizations at promoting their brand than I am. Rezdog, for what it is worth, had a background in marketing, and his success can be demonstrated by the dollars he pulled out of many of your wallets (which as a community were substantial) - $25K+ in single days according to those in the know. He's now long gone, as are many who have come and gone since; I'm still where I am, where I was before he ever arrived on the scene.

I personally feel ill when salesmen with below average IQ scores try to convince me I need a product, thinking they can put one over on me with fancy pics and draw dollars from my pocket by shmoozing me - I most often just walk out. I would hate to have any part in any of our respected clients feeling such an ill/used feeling - feeling that we are here just for your dollars, rather than to develop a longstanding relationship built on trust, mutual understanding of true quality, and the furtherance of our cause.

When you work all day busting your ass and dealing with real life problems, sometime you just want to wind down by reading what's going on in your community, keeping up on the thoughts of the day from your peers. Having to come back to work when you are just trying to decompress can be draining; sometimes one needs to just shut off their brain and recharge so they can make the most of the next day.

In all honestly, posting on these forums has become more of a job than anything else, a job I'm truly not very good at- I never was a fan of marketing- my philosophy is of the "build something special and they will come"-type. I could definitely be better at keeping you all drooling with photos, updating my status daily and instagraming photos for the those in need of constant stimulation. I'm not good at those things though, I'm more of a keep quiet and keep your head down and do something truly amazing type of person, rather than a flashy-look at me type, needing to show the word how cool I am for instant gratification. I'm secure in the fact that what we are doing is just so damn badass and never before undertaken, that I don't need any kudos or back-pats from internet anons. You'll all be jaw dropped when the time comes for show and tell, and those of you that supported our dream will be the folks saying "we were in from the beginning"...

To those I have personally disappointed, or failed to stand up to the ideal you held in your head, well I'm sorry to have let you down. I hope you measure our efforts by our accomplishments, and not by what glossy photos were taken along the way...
As a customer I would like to see possible phenos before puttimg down a few hundred dollars in packs rather than go hunting in the dark. Speaking as a customer here.

Chimera, you can freeze something that deep but it takes you ages to load one pic. Maybe take a few million from the deep freeze budget and upgrade the internet speed brother. Have you seen the porn out there?

I love putting smiles on breeders faces, no disrespect brother. Love your work, have the fighting buddah on the way, fitting since a couple of little fighting buddahs at h9me, good vibes to all...
