yessir hortilab the train is going full bore. theyve been uppotted once and are going to get and extensive veg before flip, probably another 2-3 months. initial shot is before their first home, second before their next uppotting. currently being fed gh 3 part 2-2-2 with a bit of root juice.

*just realized my puter froze and this update was never posted*

slight bumpdate... ive repotted them twice now, bumpin up cup size each time. between now and the first up-potting the number has dropped from 8 babies to 6 that are healthy and steaming along. fert have been low so far, just 1-2-1 with the gh 3 part, but thats due to some other stuff in veg with them. I plan on vegging them out for a few more weeks before flip, should have some bushes on my hands after stretch by then

good to hear dj, cant wait to see how those go for you. heres the 6 at 12" just prior to having all branches on each FIM'd, training for bushes some are starting to get big and crowd out other strains, but I have zero qualms with that. flips still quite a ways away.

:kicks generator in the corner:

just when I thought I was going to have to fly south for the next couple winters.... time to get this show fully up and running. Outside influences almost led to the utter destruction of the remainders, but with that tide subsided I can update. for the flip I am planning on modifying my soil just for these guys while still using the same ferts. my normal mix is 40 peat 40 perlite 20 mush compost, and this is what ive used either in pure or recycled form for most of my runs. this time, I decided to cut about 5-6 gallons of that mix with 2-3 gal of coco. this was done to see if it will improve drainage and aeration as Ive never used coco before. all are now in the same size pots, 1.5 gals, except for one, as I only grabbed five instead of six. multiple FIMs while in veg have left 25-30" tall plants with multiple side branches of equal length. I haven't looked at any of the other tests runs, but im hoping my extended veg will do more good than bad for them in the long run.

seven days in and the lucky six can pretty much be summed up by the old movie the good the bad and the ugly. the three confirmed females, absolutely beautiful and massive with stretch just starting. only drawback seems to be that the stems are kind of brittle, as they tend to snap instead of flex when I try to LST them. the bad, two males, and they also look nowhere near as good as the females. the best of the two will be saved for future chucking. the bad, the lone unsexed straggler that makes Charlie browns xmas tree look like a fresh redwood tree. Ever since transplant and flipped its been bent over like a candy cane and has shown no change, but itll stay around until it gives up. pics to come.
