My Nv's Hbrd, Cnnmn,& SrNLHz

Hey all, glad we're back, I've been meaning to show my plants.

53 days ago up sprouted 4 nev's haze, 4 sour nl haze, and 2 cinnamon.

I expected them to be a lot bigger by now and I'm still not totally sure what went wrong although I suspect I underwatered for the first 6 weeks ( the bottom leaves were mostly lookin' bad- yellow/brown and drying up, but things look to be getting better now after a couple heavier waterings) and I also think I should have been supplying more N and earlier.

The plants were under a combo of 2 42 watt cool daylight CFL's and a 150 watt Hps ( overlapping light schedules between the hps and CFL's) until I brought them out to my south-facing balcony @ week 4 or 5.

Anyhow, here they are.

first shot is of the sourNL Haze, 2nd is of the Nevs hybrid, and the last are the Cinnamons.

Oh and they are 53 days old, not 38, like I labelled the pics as.

Other than your watering troubles, the plants seem to be doing okay, right?

I am thinking of starting some cinnamon and some sacra frasca soon, so I'm just doing some research. Female seeds seems like a legit company, so I'm not too worried about being fucked over with non-feminised plants.

Those do look crazy-small tho, after 8 weeks! I hope they get better, cinnamon sounds like some dank stuff. Good luck bro!

hey xg,
one of my cinnamon is the shortest plant of the bunch, and the other is a lanky one that has had the most trouble keeping healthy bottom leaves since my plants have been less than optimal.
That really doesn't mean shit though, that's just 2 plants of 10. And consider the overall health of my plants...

Hey dudes. Thing is, I'm saying the plants are not even close to becoming root-bound.

Shit, maybe I forgot that detail --- I had a post already to go explaining the situation, but it got deleted orginally.

I've checked 3 plants for roots, one at 5 wks, one at 6 wks, and one just a few days ago. The roots have only extended like 1 centimeter from the jiffy pots that were buried in the pots.
I just don't get it- I'm surprised they've gotten this big!

I face that prob. before !

Hi how you do ? I,m Rodia ! I have encounter this problems fews times in my decade of growing and from my experiences ... You should be able to fix this situation ? Its clicnicly mutations when immatures they will eventuly grow normaly , but whit help . Those pheno's are avoiding hormones . Place them under your light but ad some blue fluo. enhance your feeding ...Fish meals is recommended for that matter ! If they dont come back to normals to my opinions its a lost causes !If you underwater you probably under feed them too and bigger pots to allowed you to ad a bit of mix ! , Good luck . Grower Rodia!

Hey Rodia, thanks for the bump,

I'm not sure about the mutation theory. They have all grown pretty uniformy(well, a couple minorly-runty ones in there).
Anyhow, they are getting lots of blue light outside now. They have picked up somewhat after around wk.7 in veg after I started to soak 'em more fully. Still, they will be ready for transplant into 5" square pots not even yet, but only in another half week. I bet none of them will be on the verge of being root-bound when I repot.
Perhaps I shouldn't be, but I am a little surprised that the 5 plants I have put in flower mode haven't started to root more profusely than the 5 still in veg.

So I dunno, I was gonna take cuttings very very soon of each plant but now I'm thinking that'd be a bad idea. I'm not even sure these girls will feel like stretching very much for very long seeing as how they have such a lack of roots at this point ( two wks in flo). And then so basically I'd just be chopping off the most productive parts of the plant ( the emerging budsites at the tops of the plants ) which very well may not feel like growin' back.

Anyone wanna throw some predictions on just how the plants would fare if I was to clone?
I'll throw up some pics tomorrow for sure. btw the plants are all between 9 and 11.5 " tall at this point.
