I grew out a 5 pack of green alien and ended up with 2 females. One is more skunk and the other is more lemon alien. The smell is a sour lemon candy skunk, with one more skunk, and the other more sour lemon candy. Both plants are large plants and need their root space. Yeild is medium to high and it looks like they'll go about ten to eleven weeks if I had to guess. They have been easy to grow and grew strong even when I was overfeeding.
I origionally bought these seeds just because I felt some good vibes when I was checking them out. And I bought them to bring up the overall yeild because other plants are small producers. I have a thread going in the grow diaries section (not sure how to post link) called gspfan tasy ladies. I'll do a final report on them there for sure.

They do smell great Kalyx. My beard touched the bud when I did the sniff test and all I could smell for a while was that sour lemon candy smell. I can't wait to finish them. I bet the skunk smell is going to stand out big time with a decent cure.
There should be a decent amount of info on lemon alien out there since its sold out at a few places. If the skunk pheno I have turns out nice I think I might grab a few more of their skunk crosses. But I really don't think anybody has much to worry about la plata. All I see is quality so far.

Glad to hear it GSP. Everything I see about them does appear legit, appearances can be deceiving though. Seeing what your working with now though, is getting me more excited about the potential with this company.

Sounds like that plants makes a great flavor saver. lol Maybe you should just make a habit out of brushing against the plant, get yourself some good aroma therapy.

I have no pics atm as my phone just took a shit but I have some La Plata Lemon Alien vegging. Popped 3 seeds, got 2 males and a female. Culled the earlier flowering lankier male but couldnt bring myself to kill the other guy, he is squat and incredibly stanky, later flowering and among the stickier males Ive come across recently,. The female is twice as tall and has better branching but in the terpene dept she lacks the much more pungent dank tart kushiness of the male. Both plants have incredibly long leaf stems supporting massive dark kush type fans. The male has purp stems, tho. Ive been running a multi strain breeding stock hunt since I finished my Outdoor and have culled about a dozen males of 6 different strains and he is head and shoulders above the rest...
Anybody else running any La Plata yet?

Hey Kalyx..How did I miss this?? I have their Quin-n- Tonic. All 10 germed and I have confirmed 3 females so far...all are looking very healthy. I can not comment on the burn yet...because it is still a work in progress.

As promised, here are my La Plata Lemon Aliens. Female on the left, male on the right. The weird looking leaves on the tops of both plants are a result of my decision to let my young padiwan do some fimming. Not the best idea Ive ever had. I have some clones of the fem waiting for roots now and Im going to flower them to see if I want to run her OD next year..This strain smells fantastic, just want to run her out against some other strains I have going atm to make sure she makes the cut as a Mom. Not sure yet if Ill hang on to the male but I most likely will. He's stud material for sure, only drawback seems to be his slow veg growth compared to the female. He more than makes up for that in pure Danky Stank, tho so its cool.

I think their big white would be a good breeder to work with, JMHO. .I also have heard good things per them and some other smaller breeders in that state and also in CA and MI. Smaller guys, but good gear. Newer, though, not the same main names all the time
