Anyone have experience with La Plata Labs gear

Has anyone heard of them?
Has anyone grown their gear?
Has sampled any of their strains?

They are a newer seed company from the Durango, Colorado area. Having lived in Durango for sometime over 10 years ago, I am very aware of the quality genetics that can be found in that small mountain town. I am interested in a lot of the strains they use in their crosses. I love that they are using the Colorado cut of Pink Pez in a few of their strains. I also like that they have a few skunk varieties they offer. Really hoping those are reminiscent of the roadkill skunks that went around the state in the mid to late 90's. They seem to be legit, but the only way to really know is to test their gear. Just looking for any information or insight anyone has on this company. They could be just another company trying to make a buck. They could also be a great company with fire genetics. I just have an interest in them being from Colorado and using some Colorado cuts in their crosses. I really wasn't able to find anything about them looking on the forums.

Never heard of them. Some interesting crosses. A lot better than most of what I see around Denver. You typically get the same old shit around here.

Yep i agree. I think that carries on in this business well beyond Colorado as well. They are not making the same crosses everyone else is doing which is very nice. I have fond memories of things like the old skunks that used to be around and especially the Pink Pez that was an awesome plant loved smoking on that.

Thanks CaliGabe I appreciate it. I used to have my connections down there but has been over a decade since I have lived there. My connections to that area are not what they used to be.

Ya not really sure what to make of that Cali.
Maybe he just got disinterested in keeping a grow journal?
Apparently they were #1 on High Times list for the 2014 Seed Bank Hall of Fame. (whatever that is)
I understand that probably means nothing other than having good marketing and/or the right connections.
I realize that list is probably more of who you know, than what you produce.
Anyways I guess still haven't gotten anywhere with this company yet.

Awesome, thank you very much GSPfan.
Do they look pretty uniform?
Do they grow with a lot of vigor?
Any positives/negatives you have noticed?
I know your only at 5 weeks so Im sure you dont have a lot to go off of.
Can I ask what brought you to acquire the La Plata Labs gear?
Piqued your interest? Freebie? Heard from a friend?
