We did a year on moby dick which was 68 days and the yield difference was better but only just offset the extra harvest per year from running critical We went Critical as the lower Flower time meant less pest problems and mould problems, it just works better for the uk, We run staggered lighting for sunset and sundown so run 1/3 4d of the lights for a hour waking up, then 2,3rds lights for another 2 hours, then 6 hours full blast and then repeat the morning schedule in reverse, it saves 20 percent on electric costs and gives a better end product in terms with no yield loss, nice fade and colours with this schedule. Veg is a issue to be honest so it’s soil beds, 16 plants per light, 7 days veg with half the lights running 24/7 with metal halide Bulbs then switch to sun masters for flower. Veg is basically 2 DR150 tents running shelves and vertical bulbs and 2 clone box setups for every 15 lighter. 3 phase electric helps costs too but not by a massive amount. Cheers |
