Choosing Correct Plastic

Can I use regular 6 or 10 mil plastic rolls from Lowes to wrap a timber frame GH? My plan is to have the plants out in the open field all season then have a small house for October as it gets pretty chilly and wet in my area, I can move them in for those last few mold prone weeks. Do I need special plastic or will the generic rolls work?
