Let talk GSTF shall we...
This is a place for testers and growers of GSTF to come and share their experiences and incites... Honest feedback is encouraged as this is about finding what is within this cross and not about proving anything in particular... Off topic opinions,can be shared else where within Cannafornia... There are also individual (Including mine) tester threads to share in as well... Those with useful incite or useful information can feel free to share...... Enough disclaimer bla,bla... Figure I would start things off with my recently finished test run.
Growth report:
Having chosen what I considered the best 3 of 8 plants total started from seed & having 5 real contenders vying for a spot in the pool... Most having nice tight-semi tight internode spacing with descent yet not excessive lateral branching in veg and once into flowering. One plant had a crazy stretch (x2) and one had a insane stretch (x3-3.5)... I found myself needing to pinch the top of the larger lady and she took it in stride. Forming what would have been dense upside down Ice cream cone Buds all the way along the branches... Both plants took the De fanning quite well and only slightly hinted at a stall before caring on... I think she liked it and her flowers came out really nicely frosted... If yields suffered due to the technique used then she has yield to spare for increased quality... Even with/perhaps due to De fanning she was a little leafy and if your environment is not dialed Air/heat/RH she will claw with ease yet continued with growth just fine... Handled stress very well... Phenotype's (Very preliminary observations and not meant to be written in stone) Look to me to be a BlueBerry Cookie leaning indica and a Sativa leaning Alaskan thunder Fuck- Not sure if cookies is showing here or not... The 2 plants I choose to flower were the BB Cookie leaning phenos with only the extra stretch being the only difference between the 2... Smells throughout veg and flowering were on par with typical cookie crosses yet with a slight cider/tobacco twist... Pleasant aromas abound... |
