camping spots in So Cal
can anyone recommend a nice place to camp in so cal i am heading that way next week and would like to spend some time outdoors, prefferably by the beach or water to do some fishing

In San Diego there used to be campgrounds in Cardiff, near Encinitas.
North County Coastal San Diego - right next to the beach, the spot surfers call 'Seaside' (I think.) Of course it is a ways down 5.

san diego has a few ... right by the bay... think one is called campland by the bay or something....I don't think silver strand has camping but fun to visit

SD has a lot of spots. A quick google search will yield lots of options. If you want to go inland, I suggest near lake Elsinore. There is camping and some good fishing as well.
