they are still fems and shouldn't be more likely to herm than the mother is.

Grow em and find out...

It's the only real way to know.

All else is pure speculation.

Several people in a German speaking forum claim that repeated sex-inversion or breeding with fem's will result in hermie problems... I don't see why that should be and IMHO the arguments look more like an aversion against fems than really proven facts (although a breeder or two had observed that; maybe bad breeding skills, bad luck, coincidence or really what happens?). Anyway, they are so against fem breeding that I didn't went on with my questions and preferred to not getting hanged LOL.

Please grow them and let us know how it went!

Yeah it's possible it can happen, at the end of the day some one would have to stress test the mothers before reversing them as well to know it wasn't his/her own poor selection that was resulting in selecting for alleles in repeated S generations that carried the hermie dominance, or that control it.

If it's properly done i'm sure you could avoid any hermie problems, though doing that maybe out of the ability of most because the population you were picking through and testing should probably be pretty large or you might well be depressing the genetics and bottlenecking poor alleles and not know it.
