Armenian Landrace

Hey guys,

I collected some seeds on vacation in rural Armenia and bought them back home with me last year. The original Idea was to select a male and cross it with a nice clone only strain but things have changed quite a bit since then and I highly doubt I will ever get around to doing it.

Since it was quite the hustle overall and they are most certainly what you would call completely uncultivated landrace I wondered if there are people out there searching for that kind of seeds. I could easily send them to seedbay for distribution, not let them go to waste this way while actually doing a little good for this community. What you think?

Yes, very interested. Not just in seed but in detail of where you received the seeds, if you saw the plants themselves alive, and how many seeds you have. Thanks for the thread!

I collected the seeds near Goris. Even though only 200 miles away from Yerevan it takes about half a day to get there.

I got like 150 seeds but some are rather small.

This is the only picture I got of the plant as a whole. Sadly it is mixed up with some other plant but maybe it is of some value.

Yes, I was trying to ascertain if this is seed from a cultivated drug variety, or cultivated hemp, or perhaps escaped "ditchweed". I'm entirely unfamiliar with the cannabis drug scene in Armenia however.

It was growing wild by the side of a small path so I doubt that someone cared about it. I saw several larger plants in peoples gardens so maybe a bird picked up a seed somewhere.

Someone speaking Russian (or even Armenian) could have just asked those people for seeds but unfortunately I do not.

Forscher I'm gonna get out my books today and dig through and see what I can find about Armenian weed
I don't mean to sink your hopes but there's a big chance this is either hemp escaped or low potency ditchweed. The only real way to tell would be to grow a few out.

When did you pick the seeds? Could be valuable as an outdoor breeding tool if its an early wild variety, it may have high CBD too.
