Question Chopping

Does it make a difference if you chop off branches and hang them up opposed to hanging the entire plant? anyone notice any difference?

In what way? As far as I can see, the only difference would be the time it takes to dry. Obviously, hanging an entire plant will take longer to dry, so if you're after a slow dry, then that might be your go. However, for the same reason, it could be more susceptible to mould.

Ive never cut a whole plant and hung it, always do branch by branch and hang each branch upside down on a line of string, just because its convenient.

Ive read that if you chop a whole plant and hang it to dry, that you will end up with better (smoother) smoke and a better taste because it should take longer to dry and longer to cure, thus a better smoke.

Id try it one day but very limited for space, I always just use a cardboard box for drying.
