Road Kill Skunk x DC and Bubba's Kush x DC

Hello everyone,

I got a pack of each last month they where on sale and I wanted strains that could be grown inside and outside as well so I went with Cannacopia's two fastest outside strains RKS x DC and Bubba's Kush x DC.
I live at 45 degrees north in eastern canada and after the first week of october the weather becomes unpredictable up here so they must be finished by first week of october.

I started the seeds in mid-march so they are almost 1 month old since they we're started.

Here's a few picks at 2 weeks :

Here is another pic of them at about 3 weeks, I planted 2 seeds per container because I'm limited on space and fluorescent fixtures for the moment. They are under a 4 foot double t8 fixture with bulbs that have a spectrum of 5100 K sorry for the pic's I use a cell phone :

I’m going to put some RKS x DC outdoors this season. I’m still growing (3rd season) a couple of Lemon Grass Thai x DC phenos from Cannacopia, it’s a good strain for my climate and everybody loves the end results. I’m impressed with the genetics, curious to see what the RKS does. I’m a little further south than you but probably similar conditions although I can take things into late October (most years) and sometimes early November. I’ll be watching.

So far They are very similar looking and mostly the same size a few of the seedlings took longer to germinate so they are slightly smaller but they are all healthy.

I have 8/10 seedlings of RKS x DC and I have 5/10 seedlings of Bubba's Kush x DC. I'm slightly disapointed for the BBK x DC germination rates but I didn't pay much for the beans and also my grow space is a bit chilly sometimes so maybe that had to do with the lower germination rates...

You will notice in the pic's that there are other bigger plants in the same grow space I have some freezeland seedlings and a mystery strain I think it's a supersilverhaze cross. These seedlings are bigger because they where started 1 month earlier then the Cannacopia strains in february they are growing under a 4 foot double t5 fixture with HO bulbs. These pics are from the last couple of weeks I will updated this weekend they are already much bigger then these pics.

I plan on moving them next week to a better space, I'm thinking of buying a new 1000w metal halide bulb for my ballast and growing the ladies under that until it's time to move them outdoors in june. I have spotted a few females among the freezeland seedlings and will start removing unwanted males to maximize the space for the ladies. My plan is to take clones in mid mai from the biggest most vigorous female seedlings of each strain.

I will put the female seedlings in my best outside grow spots in big holes full of good grow media and use the clones I take from them to start a few hidden guerilla spots so I don't want the clones to get too big 3-5 feet maximum to keep things discreet.

So far I have 14 Freezeland seedlings, 10 supersilverhaze mystery cross seedlings, 8 RKS x DC seedlings and 5 Bubba's Kush x DC seedlings.
By early june I should have about 15-20 well established female seedlings and 40-80 clones from these seedlings hard to estimate but i still have a month and a half before it's time to plant them outside and if I put them under the 1000w mh they should get pretty big and supply me with the amount of clones I need without chopping them too much.

I will update sunday with pics.

Lol, this is my old thread from my original username, I re-registered last year when I forgot all the info I used to join including email address so I just used a new account.

I moved to a rented house soon after that and increased the size of my grow rooms... I got paranoid and uncomfortable with posting so I stopped visiting grow sites altogether... Suck's to have to live in fear because of corrupt laws.

Well since I'm here, having completely forgotten I even posted this I'll tell you guy's how it went.. I had 8 females out of the seeds I started and moved them from the t5 and t8 fluo to give them a couple of weeks of veg under 2000 w of hps, I had hi-lux bulbs or something... German brand damn I'm too lazy to go check.. Ushio that's it, 2 kw and then I ended up removing the reflectors mostly because of the 5' height restrictions of the corner of the basement I was growing in...
I did 2 vertical donuts with 4 bushy plants arround each bulb. I flowered for 64 days maybe 67 I don't remember exactly, anyways they didn't put on much stretch after initiating flowering a tiny bit, from the start they weren't fast growers especially the Bubba Kush/DC but they were very nice plants with unique traits I have never seen before, mostly the leaf mutations.

Alright the finished product was very nice and had some features of some of the weed I smoked in early/mid nineties that you don't see much anymore, very nice indica dominant stone with an all arround relaxed feel, nice sized buds up to 7-8 g. With about half the plants turned dark green with purple streaks and one of them had completely purple buds, it had a stinky, afghani/Kush mixed with skunk, similar to the afghani/skunk smell of sensi's super skunk. Not a real road kill in my opinion, maybe the mother used to create this but not the rks/dc, it was a stinky strain but more of an afghani/garlic old school stink, to be fair it smelled like road kill when you walked in a room that someone had just smoked a joint of this. I made a few f2 but never grew them out. I ended up yielding 2 lbs plus some really nice trim. Not huge yielders but I only had 4 plants per light and could have easily fit 5 per vert. donut. Still averaged 1/4 per plant. I tried germing some a few months ago but out of 50 seeds one came out but was stunted and did not even grow out its first set of true leaves.. 2 year's ago a friend of mine who was gifted some of the f2 gave some to his grow friend and they grew some out, turned out very similar to the parents and we're grown outside. They finished 3rd week of October, started flowering a few weeks after the other strains grown so finished a bit late for Qc seasons but finished on time, a bit of mold. One female turned hermy and had some male clusters on her and wasn't noticed until too late. She was growing with some blueberry and seeded the surrounding females. The good ones ended up producing 1/4 # + of medium sized skunk /garlic smelling buds, also very dark colour because of the temperature. Does cannacopia still exist? I don't see them on HD anymore.. Oh and I started a few of those blueberry x rks/dc seeds my friend gave me from that accidental Hermie pollination. I am growing them for fun, in a separate room just in case, last thing I need is a 3kw room full of seeded ladies :( they have the rks leaf mutation and a different leaf mutation I didn't see from the cannacopia genes, I suspect blueberry genes have something to do with it, bb has some unique mutations so that's why I'm taking/wasting the time with them.
