I veg till sexual maturity, about a month.
If it's going to be a real stretch party I will sometimes veg till side branches are big enough to make cuts and use those instead and then let them go till they get rooted in a bit and put em to flower. Good selection on the seeds, should be some excellent smoke if you have patience and good observation. Also the first time is just to get an idea on how to really do it right the second time. Good luck and vibes.

First run from seed can be tricky like Randy says, better go almost straigth to flower from clones. Also pot size could determinate certain plant size with 1kw

Growing outdoors in a safe secure legal area makes me just let the sun and nutes determine the size and height of my bushes.

Honestly I try to give them at least 2 months veg still to really get some vigorous thick stemmed ladies. I have 6 feet of head space though, and they get trained early on to develop a canopy. I find sativa genetics to be at an advantage indoors and out, compared to indica, because of their vigor and flexibility. (not to mention ease of cloning)

There is no need for long vegetative phase with this kind of tropical plants, keep in mind that this genetics never get more than 12h in their original enviroment. That's also why sometimes you need to run them at 11h for serious flowering, otherwise they will never finish stretching and reflowering! haha.
