I got 2 alpha diesels and 1 chemDD that I have yet to flower. I gave a cut of each to my brother to flower out for his first time and all 3 started throwing pollen sacs a few weeks into flower.

Now its his first time and he has anything but a dialed environment so stress is definitely present. I am now on the fence as to whether I will try to flower them out. I dont want to waste time if they are complete herm factories.

I know both strains are prone to do this under stress.

I've some SD cuts at home : SD IBL Riri cut, SD Captain Crypt cut and the ECSD DHK cut... I sent the Riri cut to a friend at NY one year ago, and he sent me recently some SD IBL F2 seeds made with the Riri cut, I hope find at least a nice male and pollinate the 3 cuts with it (or them)... this project wil be start at the end of this year, SD IBL isn't dead...

The SD Riri cut is a really nice cut, with intensive lavender aromas and a poor leaf ratio, lot of potential... but these traits are transmitted poorly in the offspring, so a big selecta was planned after the pollination to try to find some interesting parents for the future...

Hey motofox... I hoarded a pack i bought of the original IBL release in 06-07 till last year when i popped the 10 pack. got 3 fems, and pollen... might work on ixing now, and would gladly share some beans if people are interested. But i wasnt planning on. if i hadnt popped them i probably would have offered them to u, as i thought they'd be shit, after all the stuff i read.

I gotta just state my experience since so many people hated on these seeds since the beginning.

these are NOT stinky plants at all. I didn't even enjoy the smoke of any of the 3 phenos really.... Didnt have too much of a problem with hermies, but 1 pheno did throw out male flowers if unhappy, and one fed very strangely.... So i would say not worth the $160+ i spent on them. (Other people did like it tho, just not to my taste.)

BUT, What i must say is that the resin extracted(via bubble,drysift or bho) from these plants is by far above average, smells and looks divine, super stable and high yielding and a perfect balance of head and body. For a resin production plant it is for sure an A++. and if i didnt extract i woulda tossed these plants a while ago and been really upset....

Sorry for going on, but i just wanted to let people know that if they are not testing their plants in every manor, they may be missing out on an aspect where the plant shines. These plants showed me that.

reading this through i dont recall at the time us gettin so few females to males,but those ratio's are crazy!
i grew 2 packs of wonder haze 19/20 pop i think there was like 18/19 males..
willy's wonder 9/10 pop 7 males....
dsd 9/10 pop 7 males....
i had a couple more packs dont recall what they were but similar ratios...
i always thought ratio's,it was just luck and it all worked out 50/50 in the end but them numbers dont lie?can males pass on a tendency in there seeds to be male??
