"Smart cops"=oxymoron.
As Alex Jones points out on "infowars", police work is one of the career choices that attracts psychopaths. They are a fraternity of psychopaths, playing Rambo, while they bully and harass the helpless, homeless, and the least dangerous. They are gutless thugs who shoot first and think later. There is no more shooting to wound/stop a person. It's all out overkill, emptying their automatics to leave no witnesses/injured people to sue them, like the homeless guy they murdered in New Mexico. |

Ex-CIA? I'm not a lawyer, but that puts a whole new wrinkle about this story and motives really become muddled. I'm pretty sure at one point as federal government employees the Hartes were required to sign non-disclosure agreements as well as agree never to sue the government so their only legal recourse was to go after the local yokels through the open records laws.
They may have even been caught up in a stupid jurisdictional turf war, about who can do what, between the feds, staties, and county mounties too. Very complicated. Bottom line, ALL pigs suck!

Personally I wouldn't trust some hydro shop owners not to be police informers.

cops digging in your trash. happens more than you know. once your trash hits the streets, u give up any rights associated with it. shoot, a REAL skinny dude riding a bike makes regular stops in my dumpster. i have also seen various other strangers rummaging through. because it is streetside, there are no privacy rights associated with it. i don't mind. no grow stuff goes there and ima fan of recycling. i just let the hobos do it for me, lol.

I pay cash when visiting too, but the cop peering into the shop while I was in it as detailed on my thread, may suspect me or someone else for growing pot by just being in the store? Believe me, I have seen people in another store that almost certainly were not growing anything illegal, as they were yuppies who barely knew anything about horticulture. So you buy worm castings and you are assumed a pot grower? Sadly, I know this so-called justice system doesn't even know what justice means.

If I lived in a non legal/medical state I would purchase everything online using a prepaid Visa card and request discreet packaging from the vendors. I'm in a legal state with grow stores all over but still buy most everything online. I get it cheaper than the grow store and don't have to leave my house. Gas is expensive. I get most things I order in 2-3 days. Order in advance and buy bulk. Always good to go!
