med-man tables - 2 x 4x16ft - 12/600
booyashacka
i am going to bring the pain in the room my last one was a breeding project, so i didnt post much after veg. sooooo. back tot he lecture at hand i am just cleaning the room right now, and making some adjustments. i do usually recommend 1-3 grows in a room to dial her in coco soil or med-man mix. this one has had 4 crops so, looking good i may make 1 table 20 feet, and 1 16 to be honest, but lets see what happens during the build i will just list the supplies as i build welcome and enjoy the show, hoping to bang out 3 from this room before my lic gets grnadfathered for life, how ever it happens :-) med-man |

the tables
- 4 sheets of 4x8 osb
- 10 2x6x8 studs - shit ton of screws - 5 - 2x4x8 studs for the legs and a jug of med-man brand b-kind make sure to have a hole sawed in the furthest corners of each table for drainage. i like 6 inch squares now. easier the hole sawing, but whatever works. build a frame to match the sheets of ply wood. flip em over and attach the legs, boom med-man |

water proofing
- 2 x lids with 15 4 3/4" plants site and 1 exhaust hole
- 2 x lids with 15 4 3/4" plant site - role of 6 mil 1000 sq/ft vapor barrier - razor - scissors - bathroom calk + machine roll out the vapor barrier on the tables, and line the chamber with folded VB make sure it is perfectly flat, no wrinkles or creases. make an x where the drains are with a razor, and spread it open just enough to get your fist through place lids over waterproofed beds, and caulg a thick bead around every hole. spread the bead out evenly around each hole. and roll over the VB, using 1 fold for 1 table and 1 fold for the other table. squeez out all the air wherever there is VB meeting caulk. cure for 24 hours med-man |

lighting harness
- 5 2x8x8 studs
- 8 industrial screww hooks - 4 industrial pullies - 100 ft of industrial nylon rope - 4 "bull horns" cut a stud in half, and use the 4ft sections to enforce the 2 8 ft studs to make it a 16 foot long stud place screw hooks in the cieling/stud aligned perfectly w eachother, then put pullies on the cieling ones. attach rope to the stud hook, then run it thru the pully back to the bull horns. raise the harness to confortable working level attach all the shades evenly spaced to your new lighting harness. i need to stress that i have 2 thick chains per table (side) attached to the roof and harnesses for safety purposes. god forbid something go wrong with the stud and pullies, it wont drop onto the tables, it will stay about 2.5 feet above it. raise to the roof once completed to work on the plumbing :-) med-man Last edited by med-man; 04-04-2014 at 04:33 AM.. |
