Used potting soil

I got about 6 cf of used potting soil. I cleaned it well. All that is left is some roots mixed in. Not that obvious.

Can this be used against me if not removed from grow site?

Thanks!

Build a raised bed...I store my rootballs up each winter....new uber-veggie bed in the spring.. or 2...or 3...depending on your #'s and whether you grow trees.

I did this on the sly when I lived in the city....best garden ever.........

Now out on my 80 acre homestead I am a bit less discrete....

I think roots can be analyzed to identity the species of plant they are from, but I wouldn't think the expense of that analysis would be shouldered by any LEO unless they were looking for more evidence to bolster a serious charge like trafficking. I hope that helps.

They can use individual root balls to say you've been manufacturing longer then you say,(continued criminal enterprise). If it's clean and in a pile just say its new lol, they aren't going to spend $$ to try and find traces of roots.

No fucking way that can be used against you. They may however fine you for dumping but even that is grasping at straws.

Although there are no charges they can bring for having used potting soil on your property, they are always on the lookout for "identifiers" of a grow that can be used to gain a search warrant. Big chunks of coco, rock wool and especially - perlite.

one thing we see constantly in descriptions of busts, they will do anything(sometimes) to up the initial charges
to them, it's just a bigger set of initial charges, it may be thrown out later but that won't stop them
bigger charges, bigger bail, bigger fear
