Satori Outdoors in Tropics?
Hey Mandala Mike,
I am thinking about trying Satori outdoors at about 17 degrees North Latitude. It is VERY hot - (30 - 40 C) - most of the year and quite humid. How do you think the Satori would do outdoors here? Would it be better to put them in a partialy shaded area or leave them in the full blown scorching sun? Thanks! |

I am growing some now in Colombia 10 degrees N. and at 2,700m. The sun here is very intense (10+uv) but the temps stay low and the Satori grow fine here. I don't know if that helps you but Mikes Satori are growing in the tropics right now.

Thats awesome! I think I'll try. I am only at about 400m or so. I saw the threads here of the grows indoors, It looks like Satori stays fairly short about 1 -1.5 m is that about right? Did you start yours from seed outdoors, or have you got clones outdoors?
Peace from Thailand |

ThaiPhoon I think anything you grow there will come out good. I am just starting to flower my two female Satori and right now the are very short but I did start them from seed so they never really had a veg. time (12/12 sunlight year round here). I think the Satori are going to love that intense Thai sun. Keep us posted.
Peace |
