Outdoor Panama. New Zealand, 3 phenos.
Hi everyone
I started some late Panama regular seeds in december at 37S similar to spain. Ended up getting 3/3 females with 3 different phenos; a green one, higher yielding pinkish one and a completely red one. They've had a hard life with vine hoppers constantly sucking sap from them, tried so many sprays but we live over the hill from kiwifruit orchards and they've built a resistance to most sprays. here's some pics today in mid flower, out of this world aromas. Surprisingly the all smell the same including the green one. I was expecting the green one to be a typical piney, minty fresh sativa but it turned out to be the same as the reds. My favourite pheno; the pink big bud pheno: The green one: Classic Panama red Everything is equivalent to 13th September for y'all northerners lol. |

Thanks mate and I've learnt my lesson to use neem granules next season.
I'm going to go crazy with Panama clones next season to vegg em nice and big without hoppers. Straight into soil from peat pots. Most amazing aromas I've had! my new favourite strain just from the aromas and how the buds look. I'll cross some Malawi pollen onto that frosty pink pheno, what do you think?. Cheers Kiwi |

Kiwi, steady as she goes, let em go as long as you can, it's worth it, the flavors and especially the high get better and BETTER!
Hope the weather holds out for you.

Don't have enough pollen Kaiki, does the Panama usually have a good female to male ratio?.
I was hoping for a male but I;m not complaining with 3 beautiful females ![]() Cheers for the comment guys, my climate can easily push these to late april RC. The aromas are already amazing! truly a work of masters. I also have an Ace Malawi flowering too bit won't be expecting harvest til JuneCyclone lusi is here too, hope the Panamas will survive the winds. |

Update:
Pink pheno lost the pink hair trait so I'll call it the frosty big yielder. Here she is 5th of april(5th october equivalent) Looks closer to harvest than the others. I'm thinking mid april? what do you guys reckon?. |
