Starting to look nice now. A light feeding might help them now.

Day 19
The babies continue to grow. The high indica content in BOG's strains is very obvious from the leaf structure. The sourbubble continues to lead the pack in terms of growth, but must of the plants are just behind them. I've got a few slow growers, but such is life.
The pots are still kind of wet, so I haven't watered yet. I did spray a foliar of Grow Big yesterday. I'm hoping they'll be dry enough to water by tomorrow. Anyways, here's how the ladies are doing today. |

DAY 21 from seed
My little field of dreams is still rolling along. I got a little worried about bm's returning, so I decided to spray some Forbid 4F on wednesday. I'll follow with Avid next week, then rotate weekly throughout veg. I've already got the products, and I've seen too many horror stories about bm's coming back. Better safe than sorry I figure.
The plants are 2-6" tall at this point. I fed today with a mild solution of earthjuice. Hopefully some ferts will kick the growth into high gear. |

Day 23
Everything's still going, but I'm getting a little anxious. Growth seems to have stalled, and I think most of the plants are too pale. I am under 1K Hps(hortilux-eye) rather than mh, but they still look pale. I've learned from past experience with broad/cyclamen mites, that this paleness can be an early warning sign. I'll continue with avid and forbid, and hope for the best on that front. Here's a pic of each strain in natural light.

Couldn't figure out how to attach file to a PM. I hope this works. Wide left margin for punching 3 holes for binding. -granger
Didn't work. Can anyone tell me where I can find out how?

MOD says no attachments on PM's. I'm trying again to attach it to a post. Problem is probably that it won't accept Word.docx format. Here goes...
Yeah, says "Invalid File." Oh well... I'll study on it. It will accept .pdf's, but it needs to be something that you can make changes to. -granger

Glad your aware of the dreaded beasts ....taking precautions=priceless
Natural light pics seem to show good color ![]() I've used hps for veg many times with great results FWIW. A few more days will tell a better story.

Day 24...Under attack!
I pulled out my handy-dandy microscope and here's what hopped off the first leaf I checked:
Here's what the little pricks are doing to my babies: WTF are these things? They're all over, about the size of an aphid or spider mite. NOT broad/cyclamens. They're easily visible once you look close. They're greenish which makes them hard to spot till you're up close. I doused the fuckers with avid and we'll see what happens. Anybody who can identify these shits...please do. I'm trying to score some good "organic pesticide" like safergro Pest Out, but I'm having trouble finding anything OMRI listed in my stores. I actually feel a little better now that I have some idea what's going on. I just need to eradicate these shits and get on with the grow. |
