Mama!
Ez,
Did they actually herm or was it a case of a few seed here and there, meaning a few nanners coming from within the female colas?

All told, you're shitting in tall cotton, stash wise. Nice work. Lessons learned, keepers found. Bigger and better to look forward to. -granger

Ive been lurking along for the latter 1/2 of the ride EZ'ster
I'd say you nailed it down pretty tite by the looks of those
Sky Scraper Mason jars
SLS gave me one of the most potent pheno's to date other than SB.
check out some of pureknowledge's posts on his sour bubble gro's.
he managed to coax out some very decent weight from his rdwc gro's

Mainly a case of a few nanners, I think. the worst I've seen is around 10 seeds/oz in a bmr, maybe 1 seed/2-3 plants with the sb. If you remember, BOG didn't seemed to fired up about the virtues of 12/1. His strains definitely like 18/6 better. Most definitely hoping for bigger/better this run

The sls is potent, I agree. It's just that a few of the sb's, and most of the bb's are just YUMMY! These 2 are also very "kushy", if you know what I mean? The sls is more "fruity" than "kushy". I like both, but my marketplace is driven by "kushy". "Fruity" make them think bluedream, and the low-balling begins. I did keep the best 2 sls as a precaution though. The next run should get a better dry/cure, with the new ac. Couple this with a high quality, all organic mix, and I'm hoping to get much better flavor and aroma across the board. FYI the sb's all fit in the small jars...with room to spare. These next ones will be way bushier(6+ tops instead of 1), hopefully with fully developed root systems, so we'll see what happens. Mostly sb and bb, with just a few sls in the next run.

Ez,
I'll be interested to see if the nanners appear in your next run 18/6. My guess is that 12/1 didn't cause it, but we don't know that at this point.

It occurs under 12/12, and I've seen no increase in the phenomenon since going to 12/2 and 12/1. Strain dependent. Actually, I don't mind at all getting a very few seed here and there. Good luck. -granger

Well, I'm hoping for 0 seed from this run... I DON'T LIKE IT. If I want seeds I'll buy them...I prefer not to grow them. I can't say it was the 12/1 that did it. I think it was a combo of environmental /bug stress, coupled with fluctuating light schedules(12/1 to 18/6 to 12/1 to 12/12) that did it. This time: NO bugs, 18/6 for entire veg...we'll see...

Broad/cyclamen mites are SATAN'S SPAWN! I drop Avid/Forbid at the slightest sign(in veg, at any rate).

FWIW, I have 1 sls pheno that is really "growing" on me. My FAV is still the bogbubble...for flavor. ALL the bb's are TASTEY. The better sourbubble pheno's all kill it for potency, but only 1 has that delicious, sour/kushy flavor. The sb is actually a little too potent for daytime endeavors anyway. The bb is JUST RIGHT. I've still got quite a few seeds in reserve too
