hmmm hard to imagine he's your best friend/mate. best friends/mates don't do that kinda crap.

Always keep seeds in secure location, air tight, and only YOU know about them. right?

Sorry man, hope things can get turned around quickly for you.

Sorry to hear you've been robbed. Even worse, by your best friend. Valuable (but unfortunate) lesson here. YOU NEVER REALLY KNOW what your friends wil ultimately do with information about your grow/stash. Even people you've known for years. As a grower, some aspects of your life should remain known ONLY to you. If your going to sell your produce, it should be as the "middle man".

Ask yourself this: if your buddy got popped with a quantity of bud, and he was being grilled by the police. Would he give you up? If he thought he was facing a felony, would be seperated from his family for years. Allowing someone to have that power over you is foolish.

Count your blessings. Change grow sites. Keep your mouth shut. Reconsider your friend process. Don't give anyone information about your hobby.

Growing isn't a team sport, though I'm very
thankful for the cohorts met through and
around my mentor, and of course, ICMag.

It really is a different situation when it's
a best friend/someone you've known since
literally preschool or reputable amount of
time.. I really feel for you and there was
a lot of fire in your coveted library, though
my guess is since he's been after your beans
for literally 4 years, he's a total dummie and
won't be able to do anything with your work
and genetic findings.. Best thing to do is let
other growers know he's a fucking ripper and
let go of the loss, assuming it's out of reason
to get back in a civilized manner of fashion...

Think of it this way, you had a lot of seeds
that weren't grown.. think of what you want
the very most flavor and function wise and
go straight for it as a focused priority instead
of a cluster of potential ideas, for example, a
library of beans. Use this opportunity to trip
on the situation just using it as a learning
experience, even if it's all the way down to
remembering the very first time you felt this
way or similar thoughts, and have fun seeing
finally the reason that makes you tick like that
and then you'll find certain things can't phase
you anymore. This person has so much bad shit
on their shoulders it's unreal trouble for them
as it is there shouldn't be anything to worry
about besides letting anyone know he's a ripper.
In time the loss of your library will be trivial
compared to what you've learned and grown
by then, and goddamn good luck to that dumb
sack, he will need every pinch of it he can get.
The world has a whimsically sardonic way of
dealing with such peculiar individuals..what ends
up happening to him will be far worse than any
conceivable wrath you may be inevitably thinking..

Sorry if my thoughts are pestering you pedantically
at a time like this, my input is because I've had to
deal with similar loss. I'm so fucking glad today, that
it happened because I learned so much I am baffled
enough to say; a valuable learning experience for me.
