Making some STS need help - Breeder's Laboratory - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

I have been trying to make some STS today with no luck from what someone else told me.

I have been following the directions on that site where we can buy the STS.. I took The A and poured it into B stirring rapidly. half way through the pour the mix turned Brown. I tried different ways to mix. I put B into 500mls of water then poured A into that same thing turns brown while stirring rapidly. I cant get a batch to be clear like this guy said its suppose to be. I even tried the other way B into A thinking the labels where wrong same outcome. Can someone clarify that it is suppose to be clear or is Brown the right color for STS after mixing and ready to use on the plant.

Never used STS before,only home made CS.

Interesting......looking into this my self, what site are you buying the chemicals from?

Surprised there isn't a how-to thread on this yet? Can't seem to find anything when I use the search.

Hey Hammer, how did your solution turn out?

My mixed solution from the same place was and still is still clear after 6 months in the fridge.

Did you use distilled water?
