@crazy_eagle: I'm flattered but it would
be pretentious of me to take any credit in my opinion, it's because of my mentor that we can experiment freely because I love growing out male plants at home; things have been progressing a lot faster for both of us this way with the selection through both our stock. I've probably talked about it before, but I've been mocked for growing out male plants here lmao just the concept a lot of people can't under- stand, I started my horticulture career early in life and just really really love male plants as in my opinion they're just as if not more important than having an elite mother. I'm guessing between like 3-7 months depending on when I can get an estimate for my house, but when done I'll be focusing my prime attention on sativas dialed in their own tropical stalls and then separate negative pressure cabs for males. cabs. I'll be a stay at home head instead of on-demand garden hand at that point, there will be plenty of help for my old man though so I'm not as worried as before. In recent time I met someone bright enough to call my apprentice, being younger and free of nerve damage he should be excellent. I've busted my ass for three years learning a lot through hands-on and eventually I'll be able to mellow out more and focus on my main endeavors as far as selection goes instead of focusing on CBD/indica which has gave us good staples so far, but personally my head craves sativa and I'd like to specialize in landrace/full blood sativa as that's some- thing literally not done around here. I'm much more interested personally in breeding rather than mass production, so my mentor and I will still share a great symbiotic relationship later on with a lot of space for the best proven specimens selected from seed runs, and a great place to send the bigger yielder/more indica leaning phenos as I'll hold onto all of the sativa doms/ pure sativa lines. Opposite interests make a fantastic team IMO. The ducksfoot pheno really intrigues him as he's never seen it in his 40+ years of growing so this has been extremely fun and exciting for everyone! Thank you again DUDE!! We get stoned everyday and then go out to the shop to crowd around it to geek out over it for a while before going to work. Here's my black widow rhododendron about to bloom happy spring Cannafornia testers! I love this one a lot it's just about the darkest rhodey bloom I've seen though this picture doesn't really do the strain any justice IMO. Breeding the same color of bloom with an indumentum laden specimen would be awesome and it's one of my biggest goals pertaining to rhododendrons but my infant koichiro wada isn't close to blooming maybe next year or one after.. I took the classic red PNW and hit it onto my Phyllis Korn, and the other way around last year. What drives me livid about rhododendrons is it takes 5 years to find out if you've even created something new, not close to the filial generation time of cannabis. Another reason why cannabis is so much fun to grow!! I love rhododendrons with a passion, the one that started it all for me, but with how busy I've been with cannabis I should basically start over with my rhodey projects when I stop working around the time I start focusing on my own personal stalls/seedmaking. I type a lot when I'm baked I should probably make a rhodey thread and dump a lot of pics plus dumping some into the mushroom foraging thread, but as much work as I do at my mentors a part of me doesn't like taking credit for another man's garden. I help keep it going, but still, it's just something that irks me about. I just got up and found a Sour Bubble nug holy shit ![]() choom(0:

It's starting to get difficult
distinguishing the individual parts of this plant...JUMANJI! I'm not sure how much longer until she's thrown in bloom tho the entire screen is nearly full. I just started my Karma Genetics journal check out the show from my signature link! I want a nice male from that gear to keep going. choom(0:

Really enjoy your style choom... Good vibes with good grow technique's and in soil to boot... Could not ask for a better playground for the AT Kong... Rocken brother!!! Mine have made into the jar for a bit of cure and I took some out camping and AT Kong has such an incredible nose to her... Very fruit roll sweet... Really smooth smoke and fairly quick to hit the head... Mellow sweet-ish flavors and I can imagine the soil will enhance her flavors to the next level for you... Im so jealous...lol At the same time, stoked for things headed your way... So far it looks like the Kong mom took what I needed her to take from the BATF and kept her bag appeal fire red hairs.. Enhanced flavor and nose while keeping her Nice head, looks like if given a long veg and topped she can still provide a nice haul... Good times brother.... |

The BATK#3 was thrown into flower
on the 5th or 6th putting us at week 3 of bloom, here's how we're looking. The other phenos are still in veg stage though are coming closer to bloom time. These other phenos are also ultra nute sensitive, I kept in mind that one of the parents was hydro dependent or some- thing like that and kept going along, they seem to be coming out of it more and more everyday. Here's a look at BATK#4 in 25g. Here is BATK#4 next to Dj Short's Blueberry A closeup of the leaves coming back to normal And now, here is BATK#5 which I am much more fond of, it experienced a bit of what #4 did though not nearly as bad/sensitive (despite being the most sativa expressing pheno). It smells very similar of #4, which is to me like scotchbroom and sprite, but the #5 being a lot more sprite. It's an interesting rub! BATK#3 keeps spreading more and more through the scrog, hopefully she will fill out the rest of the screen! choom(0:

A very belated entry, will become
more regular again as things slow down for everyone involved, new things all around; including a new personal space and expanding of new space - which will finally give me the creative freedom and much more seed production that I've been thinking about for over a year now. If personal production is enough also I too doubt myself being on-the-go helping everyone elses' gardens 24/7, focusing full time on seed production! Here is Cannafornia's BATK#3; 6/15/14 Some male flowers have expressed though not enough to ruin the buds, I barely see any signs of pregnancy. I'm keeping a close watch of it though, the consistent ducksfoot leaves give the buds this gnarly trident spear look. Here is BATK#5 that was just thrown into flower the date of this photo-6/15 Most intrigue and confidence in this plant personally so far along this ride.. and also- The BATK#4, which is getting better and should be scrogged soon. Loving how tight and uniform the structure is, she scrogged herself for a while. Hope everythings good on your end D.U.D.E., I'll be around more.. A minor slowdown with mentor's pending move and figuring out my own new space as far as ICmag presence goes, but full speed ahead with expanded seed production and my own personal, resulting in my energy that was originally invested being a full-time garden hand; now into my seed endeavors!!! choom(0:

Their looking really good
. The ducksfoot pheno I got going seems to be a nice strain so far, not much of a smell for me as of yet but growing nicely!

BATK#4 in the foreground of NL5. There's still some nute issue, main branch just snapped off like nothing the other day. Just waiting for these to finish off honestly, it's been neat and interesting seeing these grow.. The star pheno bulking up more, not really any scent in the flowers though I'm hoping the potential yield and some interesting function counters the lack. BATK#5 looking sativa stringy in the fingers, has the most interesting rub of the trio, much sweeter though similar to the other phenotypes. I can't wait to see what phenotype 4's flower development is like, I don't see any nanners on #3 but I see extremely small seeds trying to develop on certain flowers, abnormally small. choom(0:
