the epic is a hybrid cactus bred for big showy flowers,its a tricocereus grandifloris....grandifloris of course means "big flower"....just wait until the "flying saucer" blooms,even larger blossom on that one...

had a hummingbird stop and hover in front of me at eye level for a few seconds as if to say "dude,thanks for the tasty buffet"...
the yard is heavily planted with anything that hummingbirds or butterflies like so get lots of them hanging out here,and all sorts of bees...really every sort of bug you can imagine plus little lizards...it will be cool when the trees fill in and theres more shelter and shade... prickly pear and cholla flowers.. |
