I've got another one from Female seeds under 12/12 and another one waiting for the room to clear up. We'll see!

That "Rotten Fruit" I posted before showed them little less than a week after the flip.

The one I got at the moment showed them already in 18/6, at about 2weeks from seed. The smell is quite different: also Tropical fruit, but much more citric as in sweet Grapefruit and pomelo, with some mango laying around. The yield is not so good as the other, but still pretty good.

My dearest congratulations to Female seeds for preserving this strain to such a degree. All the seeds from a 4pack have been above average. The scent is always Tropical fruit and the yield is great, being also super easy plants. A bit nutrient hungry.

I didn't find the "rotten fruit" super potent, it's a bit of a creeper, easy to overuse and get slapped in the face with a scary disconcerting high.

What I find funny is that FMS C99 looks very identical to Brother's Grimm original description and pics. I've had two that showed pre-flowers during the first weeks of veg and the double serrated leaves trait is also present.

Although I'm yet to find my much desired Pineapple phenotype...

I've been thinking lately, since I've found several plants from Female Seeds C99 stock which I enjoyed a whole lot, I'm planning on running a full closet with it, in the hopes of finding my beloved Pineapple phenotype. A full pack from Female seeds and maybe another from other source (maybe Mosca seeds?) just to see how they run... Any opinions on other decent places to source Cindy?

Those plants look brilliant Z!

I just popped a Fem C99 so this thread has me drooling with anticipation. I grew out a pack of original Bros Grimm C99 back in the day and these Fem beans sound like a perfect match to what I ended up with. I had 2 distinct phenos one a more lanky grapefruit leaning and the other a more squat pineapple smelling pheno...

The reports I've read so far on the Fem versions sound exactly like the originals...

I know this is old but I have to say, all of these people looking for the strong smelling straight pineapple pheno, I must have got extremely lucky.

I only popped 2 fem beans of the C99 and currently in day 34 of flower and I have two phenotype's... They both REEK strongly of fresh juicy pineapple, every time the tent is unzipped for a checkup or feeding I always pull them out and can't keep my nose out of the buds... I have never smelled any thing that resembles pineapple so much in my 15 years of growing honestly...

Now, with both being pineapple pheno's, their are differences... One is a very sweet, straight in your face [sweet] pineapple that is more squat/short, more bud sites (slimmer buds and more nugs) and has thinner leaves. The pistils are turning faster on this one than the other as well. She also had a ball/nanner form on her lower portion a week and a half ago, I cut it off and so far none has returned...

The other pheno is a pineapple smell as well although not as sweet and more mellow, with a hint of spiciness to it as well. It is taller and the yield looks to be huge on her, very long/full fat buds and she is also a nitrogen/nute hog compared to the other pheno. I think she is frostier as well...

Both phenotype's have the [double serration] in the leaves as well... Very jagged saw blade looking leaves... Beautiful plant with beautiful smell's... I smell no hint of grapefruit whatsoever in either pheno, but have got hints of apricots a few times...

Is anyone familiar with the two different phenos I have? If so what is the average take down date and the effects like??

I'm predicting the squat pheno to go 50-55 days and the other probably the full 8 weeks... I don't want to wait over time and not get that famous trippy high that she is known for.

Mbz....
