It's going to take me a minute to get this show up to date... Better get started.... Seeds started by placing them into straight Turface being flooded every 90 minutes for 2 minutes per cycle... Using Jacks Hydro + Cal/N @ EC 1-1.2 4 of 4 made it...No problem... I had an overdose issue early on... SL being real young,got hit hard but made it through... Tough little fkers... 2 of 4 grew/recovered quickest,so they made it past the 1st culling... Talk about a ruff start...lol |

The 2 in the pots are Sativa Loco being placed the a pool filled with 90% calcined clay-5%Coco-5%perlite...

Veg,veg,veg...
Closed this tent up and flipped the big tent to give pool 1 & 2 a weeks head start... Changed out the 150w HPS to a 300w LED & 430w HPS then went ahead and flipped the Sativa Loco pool 3: Flowered around 20-25 days ... |

Here we are day 36...
Between day 30 and 36 I De-fanned everything including the Sativa Loco... Im seeing 2 basic phenotype's with one having shorter petiole and a tighter internode spacing... One with whorled leaf sets and the other opposite... Basically looks like Indica or Sativa leaning...lol Im also seeing the same tip (Top of bud) as has been seen with others testers runs of her and am guessing Im going to see some mega fox tailing soon...lol Im digging the options Sativa loco is giving off but can see that if you want yield... Your better off using a clone with at least one topping and some pinching... Long veg...lol As for smells....She is being over whelmed by others next to her so it's really hard to tell but im going to say spicy,earthy with a hint of unsweetened chocolate... Different... Yet, kind of what I thinking when I think Old school so Im stoked in every way with this momma... Im after flavors and hunts for heavy Mexican sativas with Sativa Loco and it's looking like I'm getting what i seek... Now it's going to be up to the taste to make up for lack of large yield and give me some gold while hunting... Edit: this pool is now under a single 600w HPS for the duration... My faith in Sativa loco has been restored... Yay!
Truth be told.. I've been tempted to pull Sativa Loco from the shelves over the past few months as I have not been seeing what I had hoped from her... Some issues with have been hard to figure out,yet over time I believe I have narrowed down the causes and am looking to have those suspicions confirmed with the testers being run this round. The issue being with Soil vs Hydro growth. Soil thus far has not worked well for SL where as Hydro seems to make her much happier.. This little lady fell over in the pool last night due to becoming quite top heavy... She looks like one long as (soon to be fat I hope) Bud...
