Learning the rules well,so as to break them effectively.

![]() I think your going to find you have the Jamaican Skunk leaner there and the flavor/head is something I cant wait to hear you lay out..lol This would mean an earlier finish time if my thinking is correct. I loves me a nice sweet woody/earthy nose and is a major profile im working to enhance... F13 should do the trick for the mellow earth tones and cookies bring along the sweets... Mix in some Blueberry undertones and BAM... Now where talking something truly smoke-able.... ![]() Quote:
I have become more and more convinced that the GSC s1 did release some pollen earlier that I spotted, while the male BATF was overwhelming in volume and duration,it's rather obvious that the cookies is showing thru here and there... Lambsbread cookies is what I really wanted after smoking both for the 1st time... That...Is going to be some nice smoke...In my opinion..mwahahaha.... ![]() Could you do a side by side if they still look similar... Your killing it bro and im just enjoying the hell out the ride... ![]() All the testers are killing it this season... So many different approaches and styles... Making for good times and more in-site's gained...

The first pic is ltfb and the second is Cannaventure cookie mix. I'm no cookie expert (cookieologist?) But they look far more similar then any others including the other ltfb. Both have twisted/krinkled leaflets poking out of the buds. I'm not sure if its a cookie trait or just coincidence. Maybe some people stopping by know better.

The buds are stacking similiar to each other at the internod spacing. Looking at the flower structure is a good key to judge cookie vs ltfb. The hairs vs the swelling flower parts. It's possible that pollen from the gsc hit that flower and produced the f1 you have. But to be sure if brother dog could post pictures of the parents you could use that as the guage to try and determin the true father or just call maury povich. Pic's from week 3-7 would work best imvho. Not the finished product because you are looking for the flower in growth and not necessarily finished product. Especially the female to see similar growth and the two males female eqivelent for the same traits in the sample you have gsp

Now that I'm getting later into flower I'm seeing less similarities between the gsc cross and the one ltfb and the ltfb are looking more and more alike except one that has a nice golden color to the buds. My biggest ltfb has become super floppy and no longer desires to support its own weight so the others are helping support. So I won't be able to get the plants out of the room until the chop for fear of breaking branches but its only a few weeks away so my hps tainted pics will have to do until then.

Heres cookies Lambsbread Male BATF For me she looks like ATFx LB where as most other flavors pulled out the BB from the BATF... Cant say that I taste or smell the mint in LTFB and she taste much like mom with a little more zesty kick... Quote:
That was a good call on the possible cookies combo but the long style was kind of a give away as to the ATF side... Dig the stacking and they look much like I saw in my pools... Come on colors... lol Pinching really helped my ladies come late flowering but I still needed to add support as them flowers get nice and dense... Looking great GSP... D.U.D.E... |

Spacing on the branch of flower clusters is a trait of the LB. Usually the denser flower clusters (LB pheno)as similar to chem type growth (ball shaped bud growth in clusters at the branch internode).
The BATF flowers have longer flower growth and the atf is more dominant in the cross. The leafier atf pheno is more sativa growth leaning and the flower is loose, lighter, slimmer plate leaf size and shape. (growth of hairy type strains) The hidden pheno expressed is the blueberry sativa pheno with the stacking/ foxtailing bud growth. These are where gems can be hidden. (very potent individuals with smell and taste to boot.) |

![]() I need to get my breeder vocabulary evolving...lol For the most part the phenotype's im seeing most are variations of Lambsbread-BB Lambsbread-ATF The LB having and overwhelming the flavor and the AFT/BB the overall structure which im thinking is going to make it a hard call between the 2 during VEG.. Once flowered they show their lean rather well but till then im not sure I could spot it..lol The Lambsbread flavor/nose and head have come through as the main smoke profile Im getting with a good cure to the flowers. I can only slightly tell the difference between the different flowers smoked and that was my main goal. The short Skunk looking pheno having the biggest difference in taste/head... Many more earthy tones to her with a touch harder couch... I still need to find heavy LB phenotype and that my friends is where my hunt for gold will be in the long run... In hindsight I wish I had done is let one LB mom grow without the de fanning techniques I've been working on these last couple years.. Da..lol |

Here's a couple bud shots at 8 weeks. Two out of the four have a nice berry ish smell. All of them smell and look nice though. Quality herbs fo sho.
Its too bad I'm a dumbass though. They would have yeilded better with proper light. I was wondering why the ltfb and all the others were rather small. But everything is healthy and following the routine so I figured thats just how it is. Then a thread about digital ballasts gave me an idea that gave me a sick feeling in my stomach. And I was right. My ballast was on 50% from day 1. Fucking stupid. So they'll get 100% for the remaining 2 weeks ish. But I bet I lost at least a 1/2 pound from a 1k watt. I guarantee I won't make that mistake again. At least there is no light bleaching though so everything looks super green. |

At least they'll get a couple weeks at full throttle and they already look sweet. Berry undertones you say...Nice... Not bad for a 500w grow.. Wonder if we will see some fox tailing with the add lumens... Green vibes and a good weekend to you and yours, bro.. D. U. D. E ... |
