anyone into Astro Photography

All my life I have been into Astronomy and even bought a few telescopes (not very good ones) over the years
well as my 50th Birthday is approaching I decided to get a bit more serious about this and bought myself a nice present

for now I'm using a video camera to do planetary work while I await the arrival of a new DSLR
that has been specially modified for Astro Photography to allow me to do DSO imaging (Deep Space Objects)

anyone else here into star gazing

my equipment

Scope :- Skywatcher explorer 200p

Mount :- EQ5 with GoTo Synscan

lens :- Skywatcher X25 Skywatcher X10 super Skywatcher X2 Barlow

Cameras :- ZWO ASI120MC, Canon 600D Baader modded and magic Lantern enabled (awaiting arrival)

yes the mount is an EQ motorised mount to track objects
I've recently hooked it up to my laptop
that way I can work from indoors and control the telescope across my network
and view the camera on my PC rather than freezing my nuts off outside

Sweet rig, oldpink. I'm a big fan as well. Had a variety of scopes so I know the feeling when you finally throw down on a nice one. Happy Birthday, btw.

I'm just now getting into astrophotography! I don't own a camera yet but I have a wide field, fast focal ratio telescope with a motorized mount, and I'm about to buy one of those digital eyepiece cameras that hooks up straight to the computer.

Nice images of Jupiter! Is that a stacked image or a single exposure?
