Not a lot of info here about gooey breeder seeds so I thought I'd start a new thread. A few quick thoughts on what I have observed so far with the strain pure gooey. This is a very inbred and stable line with all plants very uniform. Also not a lot of vigor for a pure sativa as it is a bit slow to veg. Will not stretch much at all in flower so it must be given extra time in veg to yield. About 65 days to mostly cloudy trichs. High is great, all head with some waves of electricity. I have made some f2s and a few crosses to see if I can get some vigor into her. A pic from day 30 flower.

Curious...is Gooey only available in Calif MMJ dispensaries? Don't know much about them. Enlighten us!! ;o)

It is originally from Norcal I believe. I grew mine from seed so no clue if any cuts are out and about. I'm in CO like you airbud so some cali guys can speak more on what cuts are out. The make up is:
Cambodian
Mex Gold
Lumbo Gold
Thai
Maui
and cubed with old SSSC S1 (old skunk1)

Have the Gooeybreeder Kona sunset going. Should be a good one. Unique color strain. Uses the Dark gooey male in the cross with Kona. Here is part of the description and it does say something about the Gooey mom.
"A very happy high with a wonderful taste of the islands tinged with a wonderful sweetness from the Dark Cross male which also gives the buds their stunning color.
Dark Cross was created from my Zinn with my Lava and also my 30 year old Mom Gooey.
A very impressive male with the darkest purple coloring and stunning resin profiles
which add nicely to the Kona line"

I have tried Afgoo before and it was a strong strain. Maybe similar? I enjoyed it and now I know a little more about the lineage. Thanks Pepe and Time.

Just a quick update on the Pure Gooey. Day 65. Has a strong pineapple/tropical fruit smell and is sticky as hell! This is a tough plant to dial in due to the way it grows. Very branchy and almost no stretch. I have some F2s and a few crosses to play with so we will see what comes up.
