my best post ever!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVaITA7eBZE#t=173

^ 3 minute video displaying how intelligent crows are.

why is this important?

mankind's general contempt for the sentience capability of non human life forms is totally without grounds. hopefully this post will enable us to better respect non human life forms including the sentience capability of our plants (cannabis included), pets, cruelly treated animals, inhuman livestock/food production methods, man-made pollution of natural environments etc....

i consider this video ( under 3 minutes) to be a major "cognitive paradigm" buster.

That is a great video. If you dig crows (they were the animal that Don Juan (the psychedelic shaman) transformed into when he wanted to get someplace fast, after all...), and you have more time to watch, here is a documentary that PBS did, called "A Murder Of Crows." About 50 minutes.

Corvids are highly intelligent. I recall an anecdote about a crow watching ice-fishing rigs. When a flag would tip the bird would fly to it and try to pull the fish in/up.

In comparison to many modern humans I encounter, they're much more intelligent and less annoying

Sisu you hit the nail on the head!I wonder what other birds have this decision making skill. It seems like the bird was really thinking about what he was doing. The guy said the birds were wild and not trained so go figure.

Thinking about what he was doing, a rare action in today's
multi tasking first world attitude.

Why am I so unfulfilled?
