@ aridbud, does starting autos under a HPS/MH light speed up the growth ?

No, because autoflowers a have a short life span 60-72-85 days vs. 3-5 month w/ photoperiod, depending on when you want to induce flowering. By pinching, you are stressing them. LST is ok....pinching back or off unless there's a problems with leaves....let them be.

HID won't 'speed up growth', per se....it will make your plants fuller, more robust and vibrant with more lumens.

Once your plants are about 25 days old they really go into overdrive. First 3 weeks, a stable strong root system is formed.

With that, the proper lighting, water (w/ or w/out amendments), plants morph in growth daily. Watering with nutrients...less is better. Don't start out with full strength....

Too, by pinching leaves...leaves promote CO2 vial for auto's growth

I find it hard to break 1 1/2-2 oz under my cfl bank start to finish. When I grow same auto strain same pot, dirt, etc I usually get a minimum of 2 oz under a 1000 start to finish. It does usually drink and eat more but also tends to bush out on its own more to. A lot of plants grown start to finish under my 1000 look like I've lsted or topped them but they do it on their own.

Two fems out of four, males were choped.
So total Two fems

Well 50:50 is not bad....some runs I've had 75:25 F:M run. Keep me posted. The 2nd pic is looking good!! You have them outside now? With increasing light....those will take off!

The others you pruned at the bottom....are those photoperiod? Looks to be budding....autos need absolutely no picking off leaves.
