Aside from my little rant...it won't do your credit rating any good, but is bankruptcy an option? If it's a gubmint agency, they will get their pound of flesh (and justice be damned!), but for a private company, won't they have to stand in line with everyone else?

I understand your reasoning, but you have to put this in context. The fact is, we are less than 2 years (at most) from the largest economic crash in the history of the world, and less than 5 years out from World War 3. This war will take place on American soil and much of this country will be destroyed, with 100+ million people dead. The American Government as we know it will be gone. The legal system will be gone, its records mostly destroyed. Those asshole cops will be dead and--if they're lucky--buried. Whomever sued you will likely be dead, and the house in question destroyed by fire and/or aerial bombing. The credit rating agencies will be gone along with that bullshit "credit report." Do you really think your "debt" is going to survive all that?

I have read your posts on here for years, and I know you have the smarts and knowledge to make millions of dollars in the cannabis trade. Why in the hell would you continue working for the man, just barely scraping by while the vultures pick at your carcass? Now is the time to "Go Galt" and get your name out of the system. How can they garnish your wages, if you're self employed and operating on a cash only basis with no records or paper trail? Maybe if you personally bought a house in the next few years they might find out about it, but if your 'holding corporation' buys it with a few layers of indirection and obfuscation, that's another story!

There are plenty of ways to give the middle finger to these corrupt assholes. You just have to have the balls and willingness to stand up for principles, instead of knuckling under cause it's the "easy thing." If I had $60-70k laying around I'd be investing that in a gigantic outdoor guerrilla grow, not pissing it away to pay some assholes for someone else's crime. I'd take the resulting harvest, flip it into a few hundred grand, then buy myself a little spot in a secure location off the radar, along with 100+ lights, fans, AC, greenhouse, and diesel genset w/ a big fuel stockpile to run it all.

You can live the life you choose, RIGHT NOW. You can live the life you choose while the rest of the world collapses around you. Or you could piss away your money doing what you believe you "have" to do, and end up being pretty close to broke right around the time everything goes to shit and kills your unprepared ass. You might die of radiation poisoning but at least your "debt" is paid off, right? Your future is at stake here...don't make the wrong decision, even if all the lemmings tell you that's what you "have" to do!

hang in there, as you more well than know already, time will pass and it will be all over soon. i was raided about the same time as you, in the heart of the triangle. i had 2 lights 15 plants and a total of about 8 pounds processed. they weighed the dirt, the bins , the jars and the bags and charged me with 76.6 pounds.the judge 3 years later told the only witness for the prosecution the officer in charge, that contrary to their reports and charges she could only find 16.3 pounds total including the unprocessed and trash from the compost pile.
rather than dismissing the charges she corrected the math and i ended up with the same sentence as you and spent 30k getting there. worst of all i was the vice president of a patient collective(not a dispensary) which was at the time with the knowledge of the county and the state applying for the proper permits to open a "legal dispensary" in the area. i paid my taxes, owned my property, ran a legal non-profit, and still paid a heavy toll for trying to follow the rules and guidelines.
the first attorney i talked to quoted me by the pound. priced at a flat rate $1000 each charged with 76 pounds, he said hed give me a deal and only charge me 65k ,i wouldnt serve a day and all charges would be dropped. i couldnt believe it...what a racket...
i chose another attorney and since it was both me and my ex wife who were charged both her and my attorneys cost me 30k over the next 2 yrs of my life. 3 yrs of probation, community service and a myriad of fines. i learned the hard way that the law is interpreted by those who enforce it , not those who follow it. there is nothing legal in all of this when they are at your door with body armor, battering rams, machine guns, and warrants. they will throw the book at you if they feel like it. my heart goes out to you and yours...
i ended up spending the weekend in jail, but what did i do when i got out?
i fucking replanted and put in a third light...lol.... life goes on!
