Wikipedia Overgrow Article needs History of Overgrow and Dispute Coverage!! - OG/ Cannabisworld Refugees - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

Hello,

Recently a Wikipedia contributor decided to merge an Overgrow.com article with a Heaven's Stairway article and has declined to use Overgrow.com administrators and moderators as a source for this wikipedia article but this can change.

Moderators and administrators who where on Overgrow.com since 99/00/01 can give us a little more history and who can varify or correct some points in the following (and possibly links to help source these) please do so.

Overgrow.com was created by weedbase.com users NL420, Foolgirl and OT1 and ~shabang~. ~shabang~ setup and coded the overgrow.com content.
What date was the original FAQ added by 10K
What date was the karma feature added by ~s~
What date was the strainbase removed by ~s~ by request of Baudalaire.
What date did HS officially own the overgrow.com domain?
What date was the new straibase added?
What date did shabang claim Overgrow content was stolen and what content? (karma, scripts ...)
What date did Heavens Stairway claim content ownership with copyright notices?

We hope that we will hear from those who where moderators and administrators pre-Heaven Stairway and those who are post-Heaven Stairway. We really want to just get the history of Overgrow right without too many personal opinions involved. We would also like to see an Overgrow wiki article on its own apart from the Heaven Stairway one and with enough effort here we can achieve that.

I will also keep this post an update post so that instead of finding the latest developments a few threads down you will find it here on this post.

*PLEASE: Assume Good Faith before replying.
*The only stuff we are interested in is the above so all opinions aside from that are basically lost efforts as we put this History of OG together for wikipedia inclusion.

Yikes! The Wikipedia article is down to nothing, after all the adding and changes!
Of coarse the Discussion page is now the interesting part.

Thanks Colorado. What we are doing is going to hopefully resurface a few of the golden OG members, maybe even ~shabang~ who has already apparently left messages on other boards. So we will hopefully have the pre-HS management make a statement here and then the post-HS management can make a statement. We can even take statements from those who have been through the whole lot. As for suggestions that we comb the boards. We did this already and this had led us to discover that we need to be asking the questions as we outlined above. By the way OG is officially off-line so we have no way of accessing that data.

The fact that you think there was a "pre-HS" and that ~S~ was an "original" owner says alot.......

Please elaborate. This is the kind of stuff we need to hear. Where you around since the inception of OG? When did you join. Who was the head administrator at the time. Who owned the doman name. This is what we need to know. Also in order to avoid POVs it would be better to just stick with the historical record of known facts.

In the beginning I understand the LSI Foundation was whom the domain name was registered with and that ~shabang~ was the original administrator.

By the close of OG this had changed to HS on domain name register and ~RC~ as administrator on the boards.
