GGGs Columbian Black and Columbian Gold Bastards
I recently purchased a couple packs of the C. Black and C. Gold.
The only info provided was.... "Transport yourself back to the 70's where the Colombian was all the rage. These rare landrace strains hand picked from Colombia possess an unforgettable fragrance and taste unlike any strain in existence. You have to try for yourself to believe it. A unique sativa of mind blowing proportions found only at Gage Green." Could anyone from GGG give a little more insight into its growth, different/special phenos to look out for, nutrient sensitivity, and anything else you think we should know. Thanks Curbie

Wonder what makes them so different than say, Bodhi's Columbian Black. If Bodhi's are Columbian Black, I wonder if that makes these something else? Peace GS

hi curbiechris and GreenSupreme
If you have a bastards series pack then that means an open pollination was done using all the different males at GGG that being said each plant could be a totally different monster so take care and watch closely. each one could be a one of a kind keeper i grew out a pack of old school afghan haze bastards and i got really awesome plants that ranged from sweet and sour lemon candy to funky onion body odor. still have the one gal that i kept it was HARD to choose just 1! i logged it over at the ggg home...heres a quote from m4k "At Gage Green Group, we believe that our mission is to provide people with the finest genetics. Everybody who grows out our seeds can discover unique cannabis cuts to advance the diversity of the cannabis species. Some of the most famous cannabis strains in the world were discovered through careful breeding and selective testing. We are introducing a new line of seeds called the Bastards Series. We created this series using several different females (from stable indoor varieties like the Chemdawg Sour Diesel to outdoor landraces like the Colombian Black). We took each female and conducted an open-pollination using all the GGG males that were flowering at the time. That means that every pack will contain a unique combination of seeds from various males that have been used at GGG. Each seed is a unique bastard. Each pack has billions of phenotype possibilities."... i hope this helps ! best of luck with your bastards! |

it is definitely not straight colombian black
its is basically a random mix pack but every seed will be from the same mother plant, depending on what pack you got if its colo. black then every seed will be from the colombian black female but crossed with ??? could be any of the males used at Gage Green i had the afghan haze bastards so i was able to see the afghan haze mother's traits in each plant but some showed signs of c99 and g13skunk and others were crazy blackberry or grape flavors you could get 12 different crosses for example... colombian black x g13skunk....or colombian black x mendo montage...all from one pack! just like forrest gump says ya know? ![]() very fun pack to grow and learn with dank rewards |

wow ,this is an awesome chance to phenol hunt!much better than f2s!and I luv some f2s!but this is a much ,much better way to hunt something say ,different, and wind up with your very own clone only!strain that would be hard to duplicate!good luck ,and what a way for ggg to help people who cant afford hype,i cant say enough about these people ,and I have never been ask to grow there gear but I have looked and watched for some time ,good luck to all who try out this seeds

Bodhi's Colombian Black is a his filial selection of BCO/HHF's stock…. This is a pure line unlike GGG. B mentioned it once this last summer.
